Marsoslavia (Overview and official website)

Marsoslavia, officialy The People's Kingdom of Marsoslavia, is a country of 84 million people with Slavograd as its capital and largest city. Marsoslavia is formally a state led by King Lutosław the First Wojakiewicz who exercises absolute power.

Ethymology

The name of the country comes from combination of words: "Mars" (meaning that country is located on the planet Mars) and "Slavia" (meaning a land of Slavs).

History

In 2023, the Slavic Union has been created by Russia and Belarus and Serbia. The World War III was slowly changing own fronts from biological, to armed. In 2026, the project of colonization of Mars by SU has started.

In 2037, in Poland, Ukraine, Czechia, Slovakia and Slovenia, the pan-Slavic rebellions started, caused by growing corruption, poverty, homelessness, dependence from USA and impunity of its soldiers for crimes commited on their terrains etc. The rebels succeded and took power in that countries and their countries immediately switched their sides from NATO to the Slavic Union. The armed conflict between NATO and SU allied with CSTO (Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Mongolia), The Axis of Resistance (Iran, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Libya and some Middle Eastern militias), China and DPRK, lasted to 2137 (with seven ceasefires: in 2043-2048, 2056-2059, 2063-2067, 2069-2077, 2080-2095, 2096-2120 and 2128-2135). In 2135, when the last ceasefire has ended, the use of nuclear weapons has increased, which caused the extinction of all life on it in 2137, and started a new radical chapter in human history.

Fortunately, some of the small Slavic nations like Czechs, Slovaks, Serbs and Slovenes have survived without any big losses, in contrast to bigger Slavic nations like Russians, Poles, Ukrainians etc. A lot of mega-shelters of the size of cities was built, at the beggining of 22nd century, inter alia in Kazakhstan, Siberia and Mongolia, which saved a lot of Slavs from nuclear holocaust.

But meanwhile in the year of total apocalypse, the terraformation of Mars by SU, was over and the planet was ready to colonization. In colonization of the Mars, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Czechia, Ukraine, Belarus, Slovakia and Serbia took part of it. In July of 2137, the evacuation of the most Slavic Slavs to Mars, has started. In 2138, the last Slavic colonists reached the planet. In newly founded in 31.12.2137, Republic of Marsoslavia, a mix of the wild capitalism and pseudo-democracy prevailed in this country. The corporations often had an influence on shaping the Marsoslav law, especially by corrupting the politicians, or intimidating them. A lot of people worked on building the cities. The salaries of the workers were so low (and there was a lot of cases of refusal of payment by their bosses), that caused a wave of protests and strikes.

In 30th of June, in 2138, the people disgusted with mass exploitation of people, corruption and politics slowly approaching anarcho-capitalism, created a petition, which in Jan Wojakiewicz, the most outstanding professor of martianistics (science of Mars), who also had a great significance in colonization of Mars, had to become a King, because of his socialist views. Over 7 millions of signatures have been collected and Jan coronated himself in 13th of July in 2139, as a result of the bloodless coup. In the same time, a great socialist-monarchist revolution started.

Wojakiewicz banned the private schools and universities, homosexual marriages, sex change surgeries, organizations promoting the LGBTQ+ society, prostitution, extramarital sex (after the famous public execution of his first wife and her lover) (even he legalized lynching of cheating spouses and their lovers/mistresses), parliament and political parties, halted the project of "ressurection" of the extincted cultures of the Earth (led by the old system), fixed competition law, tightened abortion law, estabilished the Sloswezmlad (The Slavic Union of the Youth) as a one of the state institutions and made service in it compulsory for all Slavic children from 7 years of age and introduced his own political thought called Wojakiewism, based on market socialism and Pan-Slavic ultra-nationalism. All big corporations were destroyed (often even through the government's armed interventions) or nationalized. Most of the capitalists and politicians from the old system and their families were publicly processed and executed.

A happiness of citizens didn't last so long, when in 2143, as a result of conspiracy of former politicians and capitalists who managed to avoid the great political cleansing and swore revenge for their killed copartners, the Marsoslav Civil War started and killed over 1.5 million people, to the year 2144, but fortunately, the rebels failed to destroy the socialist-monarchist state.

In 16th of June, 2170, King Lutosław The First introduced a decree prescribing all of the citizens of Marsoslavia to change their names to the Slavic ones, if they had a name of non-Slavic origin.

Marsoslavia consists of the Slavograd Area and also the Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Byelorussian, Czech, Slovak, Serbian and Slovenian Slavic People's Duchies.

Demographics:

Marsoslavia is a multinational and racially homogenous state, consisting of eight nations belonging to the group of Slavic nations and has the demographic profile of a developing country, with a fertility rate of 3.6 children per woman. Family planning services are adequate, thanks to the competent policy of the government. Population growth is drastically high. Roughly 22% of the population is over 65 years old.

Religion

Marsoslavia is a secular state which doesn't support any religious associations or let them have any influnce on political life, but provides the religious freedom for its citizens.
