For those of you unfamiliar with me, allow me to introduce myself. I am Proletaire, but you can call me Diljan. I am one of the original members of The Internationale, and I joined on the day the region was created in April 2009. I have been here a long time, and have served the region in many capacities. Most notably, I was Comrade Custodian from 2016 to 2019, as well as the 1st, 15th, 17th, 31st, and 32nd Comrade WA Delegate (now called Comrade Chairperson.)
Some of my greatest accomplishments within NationStates include the following: foundership of the inter-regional organization that preceded NSLeft, known as Congress of Armed Proletarian States; foundership of NSLeft; authorship of the first Charter ratified by The Internationale; authorship of the original Solidarity Pact of the NSLeft; service on the Admiralty Board of The Red Fleet; participation in over 100 operations with The Red Fleet; leadership of over 20 operations with The Red Fleet; possession of several hundred enemy fascist and capitalist regions; defensive foundership of many socialist regions.
If I am elected as Comrade Chairperson, I will dedicate myself to the duties of the position as listed in our Charter, continue my work from the previous term, and do the following:
Create a “Master Dispatch” of The Internationale, which will serve as a hub for all important information regarding our region, and will feature new guides for comrades to become acquainted with our region and councillors to perform in their roles. You may have noticed my quiet work on this already if you watch the Regional Happenings, which is contained in this draft dispatch:
Involve the General Council and our region at-large in the completion of our Voting Archive, which I began work on in my last term. This is monumental project that will require the help of many comrades to complete. You can check on the current progress of the Voting Archive in the following links:
Involve the region in the creation of a dispatch titled “Learn About Leftism,” which will contain links to educational resources for the many different leftist tendencies represented in our region, as well as organizations that proclaim those tendencies. I intend for this comprehensive dispatch to replace the ideological guides and FAQs currently listed in our World Factbook Entry.
Create a new regional effort focused around the musical theme of our region, which would involve comrades collaborating to create a "Little Red Songbook" playlist of revolutionary music, other collaborative playlists, as well as writing artist and album reviews, all to be featured in an official regional dispatch or the inter-regional newspaper, The Red + Black.
Create new regional awards, such as medals, to encourage and reward comrades for extraordinary participation.
Revisit the style of our World Factbook Entry, once the “Learn About Leftism” dispatch has replaced the old links and freed up space for more characters, and put a new World Factbook Entry up for vote.
Revisit our Welcome Telegram and Recruitment Telegram, and make sure the text is stylish, inviting, and up-to-date.
Provide guidance to the General Council, calling upon my decade worth of experiences within The Internationale, and especially ensure that we do the following this term: have a gaming event and music event on a weekly basis; encourage interaction on our Regional Message Board and off-site platforms; interact with our allies more closely.
I hope you will consider voting for me as Comrade Chairperson. It would be my pleasure to serve the region for another term. Best of luck all comrades running for an elected position this term!
