Poll Dancing

Today is the first day of February and we all know what that means: No Fart February has officially begun, and promptly lost by most people including myself. The council, after the swearing in of Alayka, has been rebranded to get that sweat sweat classic twist! We here at the new and lovely Democratikan exec team, in all fairness, don't really know what to do now. Because of this, a poll has been posted to see what real Democratikans think the priorities of the region should be, and as of writing this sentence the votes casted say our priorities should be in the following order:

- Roleplay promotion and advertisement
- game nights and defender missions
- NS events and Democratikan media publications
- events on Discord

Based off of the current polling data, our new executive boi Alayka is working on promoting the regional RP on the NationStates forums. Any and all nations within or outside the region are allowed to join so long as they are willing to send a puppet over to The Democratika. To add onto this, I'll start posting RP news in The Demochronikle to show how epic cool super awesome 64 we are. Game nights currently will not be at set times since school/uni/work will be tenderizing all of our little bottoms for the foreseeable future, so if you're interested in hopping onto the Democratikan Democratikraft Minecraft server, ask our lovely Akarea if he can turn on the server! I'll also be solely playing multiplayer hoi4 games with hotjoin on so that if anyone is free they'll be able to join in at any time. On rarer occasions, we can all be silly sausages and en masse log onto Roblox and spam The Great Gremblo Moans of Yore. Our great boy toy soldier general in the highest Confedracy is in a tough spot at the moment so we will not be able to develop the Terran Brigade for now, but we most likely will soon be able to. Though Discord events are at the bottom, I will now be listening to music live on our Discord radio so that anyone can suggest music and enjoy these sick Democratibeats. Dj lil' Gremblo will indeed be playing music every weekend for the time being at irregular hours.

A Salute to an Old Friend

Recently our old friend and statesman Sudardes had finally CTE'd after months of inactivity both on NS and his Discord account, officially marking his leave from the community. He was the only fascist to ever have been liked and in our government despite the region's clear and vocal disdain for fascism, making him the greatest anomaly to have ever joined this region. Even as a region full of nothing but communists, other leftist groups, libertarians, and anti-fascist centrists and conservatives, we salute our old friend and wish him well.

Constitutional Crime Cleanup

Parliament, spearheaded by Urrangslan, has promised to rewrite the crimes section of the constitution deeming it to be too vague and needing reforms concerning decorum and precedents. Even though parliament is under several constraints as some MPs start studying for a torrent of tests, we cheer on those hard workers nonetheless!

Work With Wordy Wonderment!

As the bulletin board suggests and has suggested for quite some time, there are job openings in The Democratika. Two have already applied (one statistician and one government aide) with one already being given their first to do list. However, even though we have several job openings, nothing is more important than getting a great nation filled with inspiration, alliteration, and dedication filled with contemplations pertaining to journalation, err- journalism! Though it is always nice to have an archivist or two around, or even an explicitly silly janitor singing songs about being a chim-a-ney sweep, the greatest demand for workers comes from the great and almighty Democratikan News Network (or DNN for short). Listen lads, let me be frank for a moment, then I'll go back to being UDSR (wheezes at funny joke). I've been trying to promote activity, looking into revamping the recruitment telegram, and just generally spreading good vibes while trying to keep this place functioning. While others are taking leaves of absence to focus on work, I've pwomised to stay on the team even though I have a few exams coming up and several papers to write (one that I am neglecting to write to get this newspaper out), so saying it's difficult to juggle all of this is a bit of an understatement. If you have a knack for writing, want to just practice your writing skills, or just want a nice side hobby to do bi-weekly, don't be afraid to apply! This newspaper didn't start off this official, it came out of the first issue being a single paragraph outlining general happenings in the region. So what if you worry about quality being an issue? That's why we practice and get better over time. Hope to hear from our great regional residents ready to roll out some reviews!
