The Pritannic Empire has no strict, formal, legal definition. Instead, it is composed of all the Realms, Territories, Crown Colonies, and Protectorates controlled by the Emperor or his forces. Most of these have the right to elect members to the Imperial Parliament, though there are some exceptions. The Imperial Parliament oversees and coordinates all imperial policy, and holds the right to intervene in the civil affairs of much of the Empire (excluding the Crown Colonies, which only answer to the Emperor, and Protectorates, which have no representation in and are not bound by Parliament).
