The Cossack Science Directorate is a organization under the Department of War focused on the advancement of technology and the searching for applications of said technology into the lives of Cossacks. While most of the work performed in the Directorate is simply the research into others' technology and understanding the practicality of new inventions, once in a while, they have major scientific breakthroughs (relative to Cossack scientific levels).
As well as being the forefront scientific experts in the FRCP, the Directorate also maintains several projects for experimentation; a primary example being Operation Grozny, as part of their running of the FRCP Aerospace Command (FRCPAC).
Leadership of the Science Directorate for the entirety of the lifespan of the FRCP has been under Vadim Kaspustin.
