So, I would like to start this Chronikle publication by saying that there will be inconsistencies in these upcoming issues because I would like to experiment a bit and see what format additions stick. Don't worry, though, all will be right in the universe by the end of next week at the latest*. With that out of the way, yesterday was a very eventful day on the campaign trail. Just like a drunk college student,
Letskia went in, then pulled out of the campaign, then went back in for seconds. At the same time, The litzelands tried establishing a coalition with the other two candidates New Karelograd and Califaria, which was soon ruled illegal. There was also a spat about whether or not council members should be allowed to vote which unsurprisingly raised every online council members' eyebrows at the same time. A lighter side of yesterday's campaign was the establishment of candidate platform channels on the Discord. Not all candidates have posted their platforms yet so some platforms may be missing from today's issue of the Chronikle, but will be posted in tomorrow's issue. With election season gripping the region, we should not forget about all the other bits of news coalescing at the same time. One of these comes from our good friends at The Socialist Syndicalist Union(TSSU), who wish to establish a regional union starting with our two lovely regions. The current draft of the InterCon Constitution will be linked for anyone curious about it. This isn't set in stone, and the council is currently split on whether or not the region should join. One part of the constitution that was updated this morning was the definition of far-right, being "Any ideology that espouses violence against a certain group of people because of their ethnicity, gender, sex, sexual orientation, religion, or culture". It would be very appreciated if citizens with concerns or suggestions would reach out to the council to help us figure out what the best course of action for the region would be.

"THE LEGISLATURE OF THE DEMOCRATIKA: that I shall form will be made up of every single resident who applies to it, and will vote on all things public. This Legislature will elect their own speaker who will sit on the Presidium of the Ministry.
THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS: shall be divided into subordinate groups known as Directorates, which shall be run by Directors elected by the public. These Directors shall be subordinate to the Minister and will sit on the Presidium. These Directorates will allow for more jobs, and therefore more activity, in the region, as well as allowing for people to do what they are good at. This will also allow for work to be done when either I or other Directors are offline.
THE PRESIDIUM OF THE INTERIOR MINISTRY: will be made up of the Directors, the Minister, and the Minister-Chairman of the Legislature. The Presidium will release a report every three weeks to the public. This will allow for the public to know exactly what is happening and allow them to voice their concerns. This will also allow me to better understand how to change the Ministry and discuss things with the Council. With this Presidium, more changes can be made in the future and more ways for the population to make a difference in the Democraika.
THE ROLEPLAY: will be moved to Discord, so that it is easier for citizens to get involved in and will be easier to use because of Discord's channel listings and player listing with roles.
ACTIVITY: will be increased by creating jobs and expanding the roleplay.

"I offer up my services, not only as a servant of the people but as one who can make a change. I seek to reinforce and strengthen all of Democratika. I firstly propose that we instate new measures to increase activity, by making changes and introducing new things for the people of Democratika to enjoy, one of such would be a new by monthly survey system, that would serve to inform us of what needs to change, to break down the dissonance between people and leadership.
I propose that we move the roleplay to the Discord platform over having it on a forum, as it is the cause of a lot of people's hesitation to join, as not many are familiar or like to even Roleplay over on a foreign platform, therefore by moving it to Discord, it would completely eliminate that problem, instead bringing the roleplay itself within arm's reach. I propose we instate new by weekly/monthly get togethers, such as movie nights, game nights (Be it board games or Video Games), and other such activities to amp up the friendliness and general appreciation for each other.
Another element is of course, that even if I am to win, I would still like to see the brilliant ideas and propositions of my fellow candidates be brought to fruition. Many of the ideas have had passion and the wellbeing of Democratika as whole in mind, and therefore deserve to be implemented. Of course this statement comes off as "I'll do my thing, and everyone else's" rather one uppy. It might be so, but it is more out of care, rather than competitory behavior, I hope to see every improvement possible implemented, for greater good of all"

"The main reason I’m running for this position is to increase activity of the region.
This is important because without activity, this region will die out and be taken over by other regions.
So, I’m going to implement activities and other things to make the region as active as possible .
The other goal I have is to make sure that our council members stay active as well.
They are vital to the regions success so they must be as active as possible.
If they do not have an excused absence and are not active for a certain amount of time, they should be replaced as soon as possible.
I’d also like to point out I’ve already implemented a way of getting activity up by becoming the 98.5 radio station host

I believe making a hybrid—forum and discord is best for the region as a whole.
Longer Rp posts would theoretically be posted on the forum, while agreements and shorter RP will be made on the discord
This means better response time for agreements and such, while we still have the classic forum posting.
Pure discord RP is plain dumb, and there are many flukes to using just forums, so why not just use both?
I’ve also been in this region for almost two years, which all but 1 other candidate are excluded from. Ive known the citizens of this region for two years"
