Emperor's Privy Council

The Emperor's Privy Council is the official advisory body of the Holy Solar Emperor. It's members are handpicked by the Emperor and they are amongst those he trusts above all others. Members of the Privy Council are counted as members of the "Imperial Household" and as such their word is respected by all in the Empire regardless of hierarchy (at least theoretically).

The Emperor's Privy Council operates more like a trusted 'Inner Circle' of close friends and advisors rather than a proper privy council.

There are currently 15 members of the Privy Council, the most notable of whom are listed below.

Count Alsandar

Count Alsandar is considered to be one of the Emperor's closest friends and most trusted advisors. Alsandar was groomed from birth to one day take on the title 'Count of Atlas' and thus he possesses an extensive background on political administration. He is known for his peerless organizational skills and as such assists the Emperor with the maintenance and oversight of the Administratum.

Prior to the Imperial Civil War, Alsandar was Primarch of the Archknights' IIIrd Legion, which eventually gained the much appropriate cognomen of "Emperor's Chosen." However, when Alsandar's body was grievously maimed by the Archtraitor at the height of the Veles Heresy, his brain was transferred into a purely cybernetic body. As his new body was no longer compatible with Archknights augmentations, Alsandar retired from his position as Primarch.

Although Alsandar gave up the title of Primarch after the Civil War, he ultimately gained a new one, that of "Count of Atlas" which he inherited from his late uncle Valdin. With this new title, Count Alsandar became an important figure within the Pleiadian Enclaves as well as the Imperial Peerage.

Another new title Alsandar gained after the Civil War was that of "Chief Advisor of the Emperor's Privy Council."

Prior to the Imperial Civil War, Alsandar possessed long, platinum blond hair and stood 200 cm (300 cm with Primarch Augments). After being maimed by the Archtraitor in the closing hours of the Civil War, Alsandar's body was extensively reconstructed using advanced cybernetics. For reasons no-one quite understands, Alsandar now looks like the infamous Archtraitor prior to his fall to Chaos; raven black hair, piercing blue eyes, and a height of 185 cm.

Hyreniel Beilraith

Hyreniel Beilraith is a noble from the Eldar homeworld of Shaa-Dome. Her mother was the Avatar of Lileath (Aeldari god of dreams and fortune), acting through the physical body of the previous Everqueen of Eldar Space. This means that Hyreniel is both a demigod in her own right as well as the younger half-sister of the current Everqueen of Eldar Space.

Besides being a Princess of Shaa-Dome, she is also the Empress-Consort of the Holy Solar Empire. Her union with the Emperor strengthened the bond between Terra and the Eldar, making it unbreakable.

Hyreniel Beilraith is known to be one of the greatest and most adamant supporters of the Collegia Psykana. Many consider Hyreniel's works for the Collegia Psykana to be among her greatest contributions to the Empire, as without her it is unlikely that the Collegia Psykana would be anywhere near as influential as it is now.

Hyreniel Bielraith has auburn hair and silver-blue eyes.

Sheol the Magus

Sheol the Magus is an individual who is a Daemon Prince in more ways than one. Sheol was a noble/prince born into an ancient and powerful race known as the LinkDæmons from the planet Dæmos (who were sometimes known as Dæmosians to differentiate them from Warp Daemons). During an ancient period known as the Dark Times, Sheol discovered the Immaterium and ascended to Daemonhood, becoming a Daemon Prince of the Warp.

Long ago, Sheol was known as the "Galaxy-Eater" and in his "prime" he slaughtered billions upon billions of individuals. By the early 10th Century Sheol had mellowed out tremendously, abandoning the desire of mindless destruction and eventually turned his back on the Ruinous Powers. Sheol eventually began to accumulate vast amounts of power, something that horrified both the Dæmosians and the Great Houses. The two civilizations made a pact, working together to apprehend Sheol and incarcerate him in the Great Houses' prison asteroid. Sheol later escaped with 300 other inmates, leading interventionists among the Great Houses to dispatch the Emperor (who was not yet known by that name) to apprehend Sheol. However, the young Sun Builder struck a bargain with the Daemon instead. In exchange for freedom, the Emperor wanted Sheol to unlock his latent psychic potential and train him as a Psyker. When the Emperor became a sufficiently potent Psyker, he allowed Sheol to walk free.

Sometime after the Elysion War, the Emperor encountered Sheol once again. Impressed with how far his protégé had come, Sheol offered his service to the Homewolder. Though he will never dare to admit it, Sheol has grown attached to the Emperor and over time has come to see him as a valued companion.

Sheol the Magus is regarded as one of the most potent psykers in the Empire, roughly on par with Konrad Faust and second only to Genevera Yvena. He has a physical and "magical" power rating of LinkTier 3-C.

Intelligent and argumentative in equal measure. Sheol the Magus is very proud of his intelligence and is often highlighting this to others, although this arrogance is subtle and only comes to the surface when he is questioned, often launching into elongated debates to defend his beliefs. When he is proven wrong he seems to develop a case of depression and will begin to sulk about, although this so-called depression is merely temporary, lasting only a few hours at most.

Though Sheol is able to change his form to a nearly unlimited degree he typically chooses to appear as a massive 7 1/2 foot tall muscular man with dark skin (ranging from ruddy to bright crimson), long dark hair (ranging from black to ruby red), and a single eye that "glows with Warp fire." Because his skin/hair often appears red, Sheol is sometimes known by the epithet of "the Red."

Prosperax is one of the many names acquired by Sheol. It is possible that Prosperax was actually his original birth name.

Sheol is known to wield the aptly named "Blade of Prospero", a bladed weapon that serves as an extension of Sheol's immense psychic might. The exact appearance of the Blade of Prospero is subject to Sheol's will and can range from a shortswort to a glaive to a massive scythe.

Caradan Tuiriyon

Caradan Tuiyron serves as the Supreme Grand Master of the Collegia Mercenarius, a Guild comprised of Imperial-aligned privateers and soldiers-for-hire.

Caradan wasborn the 27th of September, 920.M10 on the planet Orastora into the royal House of Tuiryon. Orastora was unfortunate enough to be "in the way" of Aetrian expansion. In 933.M10, the King and Queen of Orastora were assassinated, leaving an orphaned 13-year-old Caradan as the King of Orastora. In 937.M10 Orastora was invaded by the Aetrian Empire under the command of Godric Luther. Despite the best efforts of the planet's defenders, Orastora fell to the forces of of the Aetrian Empire. Like many before them, the Orastoran people were enslaved by the Aetrian war-machine.

While aboard an Aetrian Voidship, Caradan led a slave revolt that led to the successful capture of the vessel. The vessel, now renamed the Poisoned Arrow was significantly modified and retrofitted to fit the needs of Caradan and his crew. For sixty-two years, Caradan acted as the infamous Pirate Lord known as the 'Corsair-Prince'. Caradan's time as a pirate captain came to an end in 999.M10 when the Poisoned Arrow was captured by the Aetrian Empire. The Aetrians executed the crew of the Poisoned Arrow and took Caradan back into slavery.

Once again enslaved by the Aetrian Empire, Caradan was branded with the Aetrian Slave Mark, given the serial code LX-XX-VII (60-20-7), and assigned to the Second Penal Legion. For nearly sixteen years, the former Corsair-Prince was forced to fight for the Aetrian Empire. Things would eventually change as in 015.M11, a new "recruit" branded XIII-N-VII (13-0-7) began discussing his grand vision of a "benevolent Imperium to bring about a better cosmos". Despite feeling that this vision was unattainable, he could not help but admire the boy who kept talking about his dreams no matter how many times the overseers attempted to beat it out of him. A turning point of his life is when he defended the boy from a flogging. Of course he was beaten for it, but the Hermit found pride within himself for defending the boy despite his own fears.

The Hermit took part in the Second Legion's uprising and sought to defend XIII-N-VII who had ostensibly caused the uprising. Along with the rest of the Legion, the Hermit was imprisoned at Fort Dormstagg and forced into menial labor. Despite his predicament, Caradan felt better now then he had over the last seven-and-a-half centuries.

After the Destruction of Fort Dormstagg, Caradan would serve as a member the Móraphim.

After the formation of the Empire, Caradan Tuiyron would become the head of the Collegia Mercenarius and a member of the Emperor's Privy Council. Caradan advises the Emperor in matters involving the criminal underworld.

Caradan is known for his excellent sense of humor, however this humor sometimes breaks through his otherwise mature and responsible exterior.

Despite his absolutely insane level of physical power for a man his age, Caradan prefers to defeat his foes with the use of tricks and wit.

Despite not being officially married nor having children (as far as anyone knows), Caradan has a penchant for Dad jokes.

Unlike the majority of the Emperor's Privy Council, Caradan does not keep any unique weapon used as a symbol of office, instead he maintains a vast arsenal of weapons typically found in the Imperial Army.

Caradan Tuiyron is an older gentleman with graying black hair and and green eyes.

Xerek Nikodai

Not much is known about Xerek Nikodai prior to joining the Aetrian Military. He served as a political commissar and gained some degree of fame before finding himself reassigned to an undesirable position. The reasoning being that the Commissary Board believed Xerek had begun to question his own loyalty to the Aetrian Sovereignty after a "certain event" (of which little is known).

During the Elysian War, Nikodai was assigned to Fort Dormstagg, a prison that held an entire legion of Kriegenþräl (slave-soldiers) that rebelled against the Aetrians. Nikodai betrayed the Aetrian Sovereignty and released the captive Kriegenþräl, instigating the Fall of Dormstagg. The freed Kriegenþräl formed a pseudo-society known as 'the Móraphim'. As a member of the Móraphim, Nikodai quickly rose through the hierarchy despite his Aetrian origins to become a high-ranking Commander. Following the death of Caraph Wessen, Xerek became the Captain-General of the Móraphim. As the Elysian War progressed, he became good friends with Caradan Tuiyrion, Alrekir Valdin-Gram, and the Emperor (then known as the Phoenix).

Xerek is not his original name as he adopted it to separate himself from his past. What his original name was is unknown, even Aetrians in the past only referred to him as "the Commissar"

After the formation of the Empire and Militarum Imperialis, Xerek Nikodai was appointed to the position of Lord Commander Militant of the Imperial Army by the Emperor. Nikodai is mostly concerned with the administrative, bureaucratic, and political elements of the Army.

While it would initially seem as though Xerek has no sense of humor, this is untrue. His humor is woefully dry. But it is in fact humor.

Xerek wields an ancient Power Blade dubbed the "Razor Caelestis" alongside a small collection of small side arms.

Xerek Nikodai is heterochromic; his right eye is blue and his left eye is green. His hair is blonde and he is almost never seen without an Imperial Military Officer's Uniform.

Mara Yvena

Mara Yvena is the younger of High Justice Genevera Yvena's two daughters. While her mother pursued a career in law and her elder sister pursued a career in the military (joining the Warmaiden Convents), Mara seeks to forge her own path in life and secure a legacy that is hers and hers alone. As of 023.M11, Mara is 29 years old, making her one of the younger members of the Privy Council.

Aside from serving as a member of the Privy Council, Mara Yvena is an Adept of the Collegia Psykana who is classified as a Gamma-level Psyker.

While Mara owns a master-crafted rapier (affectionately named 'The Icicle' by other members of the Privy Council) that has only recently seen active use as Mara's official duties take her away from the confines of the Imperial Palace and into less than safe environments

Mara has blue eyes and dark hair, though she often dyes her hair silver/white to honor her Warmaiden sister, Astarte Yvena.

Xero Stalgrim

Xero Stalgrim is an eccentric scientist of the Collegia Mechanica and essentially serves as the Emperor's "scientific advisor". Even among the ranks of the Collegia Mechanica, Stalgrim is considered to be incredibly eccentric, preforming test and expirements that have lead several influential Tech-Magisters branding him a mad man.

Stalgrim is fitted with numerous cybernetic/bionic implants/enhancements/augmentations/etc., in fact his entire body below the neck (and parts of his head/face) are mechanical, with his "hollow innards" filled to the brim with weapons. His age is unknown, but has been an active member of the Omnissiah Machine Cult for at least half-a-century.

To highlight his eccentricity, Xero displays a vast number of "psychological quirks and eccentricities".

'Xero Stalgrim'

Jagris Erika served as the Supreme Warmaster of the Militarum Imperialis and responsible for a great number of the Empire's greatest victories in the Great Crusade. Despite her young age, her intellect is considered to be prodigious. As a member of the Privy Council, she serves as the Emperor's primary tactical adviser.

Jagris Erika founded the Warmaiden Convents, an army of all-female super-soldiers. Jagris surrendered command of the Convents so that she could serve as the Supreme Warmaster.

Jagris Erika has mid-length blonde hair (died white) and blue eyes. Most of the time she wears a customized variation of Battle-Maiden Regalia and is fortunately not gripped by the same madness that drives others of her Order to undergo "the Shedding".

'Jagris Erika'

Eiko Kamiya

"Eiko Kamiya" is a 103-Form Timeship of the Great Houses that fought in the War in Heaven (a conflict fought in the Emperor's personal future). Originally, this Timeship was piloted by the "original" Eiko Kamiya, a Human woman from 19th Century Japan that was recruited by the Great Houses. When the real Eiko died, her Timeship assumed her name, appearance, and identity and fled from the War.

After fleeing from the War, the "new" Eiko inserted herself into the Kamiya family of the late 20th Century, claiming to be to be the "estranged older sister" of Akane Kamiya.

After her "sister's" death, Eiko traveled to the Empire in the 11th Millennium in order to find the Emperor. Her reasons for doing so are unknown to thus day.

Since her arrival in the 11th Millennium, she teaches and trains the Emperor to better wield his "Wargod Invocation" and to prevent, or at least mitigate, the collateral damage typically associated with its usage. She has yet to reveal how she has so much knowledge on such an esoteric "art" (some claim Eiko has connections to the Menti Celesti).

Eiko also appears to present herself as a sort of "bodyguard" for the Emperor and has developed a habit of following him around whereever he goes, regardless of the time or place. Some consider Eiko to be a stalker, secretly following the Empero from afar, only revealing her existence at random intervals. As odd as this is, it has proven to be adequate in deterring the Emperor from using Wargod Invocation recklessly or impulsively.

Eiko may or may not be the true identity of "Sora", the Grand Master of the Imperial Order of Assassins.

Just like Akane, Eiko has dark auburn hair. After the death of her sister, Eiko began to dye her hair red like her sister once did (with the addition of yellow balayage).

Imperial Palace Staff

-Maria: Maria was present within Mega City Londinium during arrival of the Ark Victora. Records of Maria's life prior to the Unification of Terra are scattered and incomplete. She does not appear to use a surname (theorized to having been orphaned or disowned), she obtained higher education in a place known as "England" (though no official diploma exists in Imperial Archives nor does any record indicate the existence of any "England" beyond Terra's ancient past).

Heavily redacted records lost in the depths of the Imperial Archives would seemingly indicate that Maria was "not of this time" and was born long ago in Terra's distant past. It is theorized within these lost records that Maria came to the 11th Millennium after falling through the Cardiff Time Rift before making her way to Mega City Londinium.

Unabridged records concerning Maria began after she was employed as Imperial Palace Ancillary Staff. In fact, the first intact report on Maria in the Imperial Archives details her becoming the 'Head of Staff' of the Imperial Palace.

In 020.M11 AD, Three years after becoming the Head of Staff for the Imperial Palace, Maria was approached by Imperial Alchemists with the opportunity to become one of the famed Praetorians. By that point, only individuals with 'XY' Chromosomes were able to be transformed into Praetorians. However, new breakthroughs in bio-genetic technology allowed Maria to be the first woman in Imperial history to 'cross the Rubicon' and become a Praetorian. After becoming a Praetorian, Maria adopted the cognomen 'Aurelia'.

Sometime in 021.M11, Maria Aurelia was elected as the Legate of the Legio Custodes, a Legion of 10,000 Praetorians that serve as both the "Royal Guards" of the Imperial Palace and Bodyguards for the "Royal Family". With this, Maria became the effective 'Head of Security' in the Imperial Palace as well as the 'Caretaker of the Emperor', responsible for the Monarch's physical and mental well-being.

'Legate Maria Aurelia'

-Mei: Mei is a Tsaerilian born on the planet Sabik in the Constellation of Ophiuchus. After the Great Cataclysms of the 91st Century, the people of Sabik were reduced to a pre-industrial, primitive folk. The planet became 'elevated' after encountering the Greater Victora Congressional Authority which gave the people of the planet advanced technology. After the Tribes of Sabik decided to join the Greater Victora Congressional Authority, Mei found employment at the Federation's capital city of New Mórhaven on Terra. Mei eventually found work as an Ancillary Staff member of the Imperial Palace following the formation of the Empire. Mei became a favored servant of the Palace, with the Emperor including her within the Imperial Household.

In 020.M11, Mei became the Palace's 'Head of Staff' after the previous office holder joined the ranks of the Golden Host.

-"Alfred Jeeves": Alfred Jeeves is the name given to an odd individual that was present when the Ark Victora first arrived on Terra. Jeeves' real name is not known and he merely goes by the nickname given to him by the Victorans. During the Victoran's first encounter with Jeeves, he proclaimed his service to the "Royal Family." Despite the strange man's strange claims, the Victorans paid him no mind and Jeeves settled down at the Victoran's capital city.

After the construction of the Imperial Palace, Jeeves relocated himself here, and when Palace Security couldn't remove him he was offered a job as a Butler. While Maria and Mei have de jure control over all staff in the Palace (aside from the Praetorians), Jeeves kinda does his own thing. Since he preforms his duties with the upmost excellence Maria and Mei are content to leave him be. Like a number of other Butlers and Maids in the Palace, Jeeves has shown an odd proficient for battle that does not match his job description as a Butler.

Imperial Sun Builders

Arshas, Belen, and Winadora vel-Thelixar were Sun Builders of House Thelixar (from which the Emperor hails) who left their Homeworld in order to find and assist their brother-cousin, the Emperor, ostensibly "aligning" themselves with the Holy Solar Empire in the process. Together, they are amongst a handful of Sun Builders aligned with the Empire.

The Imperial Sun Builders are currently in possession of two Sun Builder Star-Blades (named Enu and Anu).

- Arshas: Of her three companions, Arshas is by far the wisest and most mature. She is considered to be the twin sister of Beliyon, as both were born from the same Loom on the same day and nearly the same time (it is unknown exactly who was born first). Despite having the appearance of a woman in her late 20s or early 30s, Arshas is actually in her mid 200s (she was 82 when the Emperor was loomed). Though while not as physically imposing as her two cousins, Arshas has proven herself to be a more than efficient Psyker.

- Belen: Of his three companions, Belen is by far the most ill-tempered. He is considered to be the "twin" of Arshas, as both were born on the same day and nearly the same time (it is unknown exactly who was born first). Despite having the appearance of a man in his late 20s or early 30s, Belen actually in his mid 200s (he was 82 when the Emperor was loomed).

It should also be noted that Belen was originally a supporter of Valron vel-Thelixar before seemingly being coaxed to join the "Imperial Sun Builders". Despite this, Belen will sometimes act on his own in ways that are detrimental to the Empire. The good graces of his "brother" are the only things preventing Belen from being labeled an 'Alpha-class Threat'.

- Winadora: Of her three siblings, Winadora's personality shifts the most. Sometimes she can be shy and caring, while other times she can be mean and arrogant, and other times still she acts cheerful and energetic. Winadora is currently in the youngest Loomborn member of House Thelixar, having not yet reached her first half-century. Due to an error in the breeding engine, Winadora developed into a rather diminutive appearance (something she is rather self conscious about). Despite this, Winadora is incredulously strong for her size and is capable of hitting with the force of a freight train. An upside to her smaller stature is that she can both deceive others into underestimating her as well as squeeze herself into tight spaces such as cramped ventilation ducts.

Grigori Spardis

Gregor Spahr is the acting Grand Master of the Imperial Inquisition. Much like High Chancellor Konrad Faust, Grigori Spardis is a Daemonhost, a mortal being possessed by a daemon. In this case however, the daemon is more so bonded to Spahr than possessing him.

Grigori Spardi (born Gregor Spahr) was a Human born in the Holy Roman Empire around the the year 170.M2 and participated in the Third Crusade where he encountered supernatural beings for the first time. After returning home to Germany he became a renown monster hunter. In an instance of cruel irony, Gregor was fatally wounded by a Greater Daemon and his only chance of survival was to make a pact with a other. Tep'esh was a curious case, he was a daemon who hunted other daemons. Tep'esh was the one who rescued Gregor, binding himself to the Human to prevent him from dying. Fortunately, both Gregor and Tep'esh had similar goals.

Aside from serving as the head of the Inquisition as a whole, Grigori personally works to root out the influence of the Chaos Gods within the Empire. He believes that only a united Empire free from spiritual corruption can hope to stand against the Archenemy

Grigori has gained notoriety as a Radical Inquisitor who will go to great lengths to benefit the Empire. While he means well,, Grigori often struggles with the idea that the ends don't always justify the means. With effort, Grigori can be convinced to back down when he goes to far (though he'll never directly admit to being wrong).

Fortunately, Grigori has never stooped to the level of former Supreme Warmaster Veles Apollyon.

Compared to his gregarious sibling, Grigori is far more candid and stern, if not aloof. Despite this, Grigori is not without his manners. He is known for his detached amusement.

In many ways, Grigori has the bearings of an aristocrat. This is reflected in his wardrobe; consisting of elegant suits and robes, complete with fanciful decorations such as precious stones and ties. The look is complete by a large monocle over his left eye.

Grigori is known to have taken one "Apprentice", a ginger "ambiguously Franco-Gaelic" woman named Bree O'Connor. Bree's fantical devotion to both the Inquisition and the Empire is rivaled only by Grigori himself.

'Grand Master Grigori Spardis'

Serana vel-Heartsfire

Serana vel-Heartsfire is a renegade Sun Builder with a personal history with the Emperor himself, the two having been close friends on the their Homeworld. Apparently the two became separated when they attempted to leave their Homeworld. While the Emperor managed to escape Serana was captured by their Homeworld's authorities. Although Serana was taken into custody, she later managed to escape and make it off-world using a stolen Time Ring, using it it to travel to the Holy Solar Empire. Unfortunately, the Time Ring only held one charge, leaving Serana effectively stranded within the Empire. While the Emperor chose to establish a legitimate empire, Serana on the other hand chose to establish a criminal empire of her own.

Over time, Serana's criminal empire came to dominate the galactic criminal underworld much like the Holy Solar Empire came to dominate the galaxy.

When the Emperor reunited with Serana he was able to reforge a tenuous relationship with his old friend. The Emperor is keen to keep a close eye on Serana as although she has proven herself to be a valuable asset to the Empire (when she chooses to be). She has also proven herself to be quite the hinderance when her actions go against (or directly counteract) the goals of the Empire. To minimize Serana's damage while maximizing her valuability, the Emperor chooses to keep his old friend "contained" within the Imperkal Palace and only lets her out when she's under direct supervision.

At the present (circa. 023.M11), Serana is nearly 140 or 170 years old and in her First Incarnation. Serena (as her First Incarnation) is tall and svelte, here skin is fair and smooth, her hair is long, flowing, and blonde, and her eyes are a dazzling blue-green. Though while she seems warm and kind on the surface, in reality she is quite the opposite. Her outer beauty and charm serves as a mask for her inner madness which in turn hides her sheer brilliance. Those that have studied her have all concurred that Serana is suffering from a sickness of the mind. According to the Emperor, the only cure was on their Homeworld, a place he refuses to return to until Chaos is defeated.

It has been theorized by the Grand Synod of Terra (the governing body of the Imperial Faith) that Serana serves (or will one day serve) as the Champion of the Eternal known as Pain.

Valron vel-Thelixar

"I will admit, I am by no means a good man. However, everything I have done up 'til now has been for a purpose greater than I. A great evil is stirring, an Enemy far greater than the Ruinous Powers. You all know this to be true, you have all felt it, seen it in your dreams. All of creation as you and I know it will be shaken and it will fall if we do not prepare. Only I have seen the narrow path that leads to our salvation. Do you see now? Everything I have done has been for the greater good. All of us, every living creature in this universe and beyond, must be strong if we are to survive the Enemy. Only I can make us strong. - Valron vel-Thelixar

Valron vel-Thelixar was a visionary amongst the Great Houses of the Sun Builders, something that was rare among his people. Valron's goal is a just one. Indeed, long ago Valron was considered a "hero" much like his the Emperor is now. However, over time Valron grow callous, displaying the amorality commonly attributed to most Sun Builders. While he once fought for the sake of "good against evil" he now sees both as "arbitrary constructs". To him, the only "evil" is that of "the Enemy", a malignant force foretold to plunge reality into an eternal War. Some do not consider to be a "true villain" and instead someone who is "dangerously morally grey" or "terribly self righteous." Others view Valron as fitting the 'Fallen Angel Archetype'

Valron sought to build a new empire of the Sun Builders, one that could survive the threat of the "Eternal Adversary." Under the protection of the Lords of Time, the Eternal Adversary will be destroyed and the people of the Universe would be shepherded into a golden age of peace and prosperity. However, it is the way Valron seeks to achieve his goal that makes him truly dangerous. His Imperium would be forged in the caldera of conflict and the weak will be culled until only the strong remain. The wicked would be punished with the righteous fury. Those who resisted or opposed the New Order would be beaten down. Unification would come regardless of how it's arrival may affect innocents.

When witnessing the Holy Solar Empire for the first time, Valron found it 'somewhat impressive'. He felt that the Emperor could do 'so much better' and go 'so much further'. Thus, Valron sought to "help" the Emperor in his own twisted way. Valron would manipulate the Empire, using their Great Crusade to further his own goals. The unification of the Milky Way and the defeat of Chaos would be one step closer to creating his desired 'Imperium of the Great Houses'.

As Valron's plans unfolded, he would build a base of devout followers who were convinced that Valron's vision was best for the Universe. It has since become a common theory that former Warmaster Veles' increasingly belligerent policies were influenced at least in part by Valron. The fact that Valron was seemingly unaware of the fact Veles was already corrupted by Chaos was proof that the Sun Builder's arrogance had blinded him.

The actions of Valron eventually brought him into conflict with the Emperor. As the Great House was pitted against itself in Civil War, the so-called 'Thelixar Kinstrife' would inevitably shape the future of the Empire and the Great Crusade at large. The Thelixar Kinstrife would spiral into a 'minor' Civil War as the followers of the Emperor clashed with the followers of Valron.

In late 021.M11, the Time Lady Serana vel-Heartsfire infiltrated the Imperial Palace under the influence of Valron. It is unknown what Serana's original intentions were as her plan was ultimately hijacked by Valron for his own ends. Valron took control of the Eye of Victory from Serana's grasp, using it to bring the Sun Builders' Homeworld into Terra's orbit and linked the Eye of Victory on Terra to the Caldera on the Homeworld (the link was strengthened due to the Homeworld's close spatio-temporal proximity to Terra). Valron planned to use the Eye-to-Eye link as the "centerpiece" or "lynchpin" of a new Web of Time, one that would survive against the Eternal Adversary in the coming War in Heaven. Victory was now in his grasp.

Unbeknownst to Valron, his plans to create a new Web of Time would have inadvertently weakened the Great Houses and make them more susceptible to attack from the Eternal Adversary. The Emperor and Serana worked together to sever the link between the Eye of Victory and the Eye of Harmony, foiling Valron's machinations. The "snapback" of the link's severing caused the Sun Builders' Homeworld to return to it's rightful place. In the chaos caused by the Homeworld dematerializing Valron managed to escape. Valron led his followers to the far future on a distant planet on the edge of the Milky Way, taking up refuge in the ancient yet mighty fortress known as "The Spire".

From the Spire, Valron began building his army in another attempt to push for Terra and take control of the Empire by force à la coup d'état. This plan was ultimately foiled after the Empire managed to capture his fortress during the cataclysmic Battle of the Spire. Unfortunately, Valron fled once more. Wishing to put an end to his father's madness once and for all and not willing to allow Valron to settle into a new refuge, the Emperor lured the increasingly deranged Sun Builder to a desolate world for one final confrontation. When Valron arrived the Emperor initially attempted to convince his 'father' to abandon his plans. When that failed, the Emperor challenged Valron to an "honorable duel" in accordance to the Ancient Traditions of Glorious Gallifrey.

Eventually, the Emperor forced his kin into submission, quite literally beating the sense into him. In the end Valron was "freed" from his all-consuming aspirations and for the first time in centuries he could think clearly. It is said that he wept when he realized what he had done. Valron's fate after the battle is unknown to the Empire, but due to the temporal nature of the Sun Builders, Valron (as he was before the final duel) continues to plague the Empire.

Ashamed of all that he had done, Valron willed himself to regenerate into a 'newer, younger body'.... Or so the official records say. It is more likely that the Emperor found himself unable to redeem Valron and was forced to put an end to his kin's sixth life. According to this story, it was Valron's next incarnation that wept over the actions of his immediate predecessor.

It is speculated that Valron is now working for the Empire, but due to his actions in the past he is kept within the Royal Sanctum (or aboard the Leviathan) and out of sight of the public. Some say the Emperor has put Valron to work in studying 'the Leviathan', an ancient and arcane Voidship built by the Gods that is now in the possession of the Empire. Using the knowledge gained from the Leviathan combined with his own vast knowledge of the Empyrean, Valron is tasked with assisting elite Imperial technicians in the creation of a device that could repel the Maelstrom.

By Imperial estimates the incarnation of Valron held in Imperial custody is about 5,840 years old and in his seventh incarnation.
