[font=timesnewroman]The [b]Conservative Party[/b], commonly referred to as the "Syukoseva Bloc" since 2001 and named after the President of Kabzeel, is the largest and most well-known political party in Kabzeel and as of 2015 holds 2,085 (or 81.86%) seats in the National Parliament. Conservative Party members have maintained the majority of the National Parliament since 2008.

[font=timesnewroman]The Conservative Party formed in 1876 through a merger of the United Women's and the National Women's Militia parties to safeguard the [b]Feminine Revolution of 1875[/b] from the reactionary and invading foreign threat of the time, specifically Russia. The Conservative Party, along with thr Kabzeel Unity party, supports the policy of Kabzeelian president Ekaterina Syukoseva, who is also de facto leader of the party.

[font=timesnewroman]The party officially follows the state doctrine of [b]Royal Socialism[/b], but beyond that the party has no coherent ideology, but it embraces specific politicians and officials with a variety of political views who support the administration. The party appeals mainly to non-ideological voters, therefore the Conservative Party is often classified by political scientists as a "catch-all party" or as a "party of power". In 2013, it proclaimed Kabzeelian nationalism and conservatism as both a part of its foundational and official ideology.

[font=timesnewroman][b]Ideology[/b][/font]

[font=timesnewroman]According to the party's official political manifesto, [i]The Only Kabzeelian Path Forward[/i] - released in 2004, the party's goal is to unite the responsible political forces of the country, aiming to minimize the differences between rich and poor, young and old, state, business and society. The economy should combine state regulation and market freedoms, with the benefits of further growth distributed for the most part to the less fortunate. The party rejects left-wing and right-wing ideologies in favour of "political centrism" that could unite all sections of society. In addition, the official party platform emphasizes pragmatism and anti-radicalism.

[font=timesnewroman]The Conservative Party has always characterized itself as wholly supportive of the agenda of the popular current President Ekaterina Syukoseva since 2003 and this has proved key to its success.[/font]

[font=timesnewroman]In cultural and social affairs, the Conservative Party has collaborated closely with the Kabzeelian Great Synagogue of Belcross. The New York Times reports in September 2016 how that Church's policy prescriptions support the Belcross's appeal to social conservatives:

[font=timesnewroman]Royal Socialism, sometimes referred to as Socialism with Kabzeelian Characteristics, is the characterized primarily as a [i]"combination of the values of Kabzeelian traditionalism and the concepts of socialization and social ownership"[/i]. It reflects the belief that societies exist and develop organically and that members within them have obligations towards each other. There is particular emphasis on the paternalistic obligation of the Kabzeelian monarchy to the poorer parts of society.
