Date: Skarladay 10th Paxensis 2019 (10/08/19)
Location: Helligby Manor, Helligby, Kryss, HB1 1HG
Reason for Visit: Presidential Baby Visit
Event Managed By: Lady Charlotte Monty
The event will be held at Helligby Manor, in Helligby on North Island, this separates the event from any major city while still feeling connected to Skarlagen society.
Delegations will meet outside the Manor between 08:30 and 09:00 before heading inside to the grand hall. Once here there will be music and dancing, an opportunity to speak to Her Most Feminine, Grand Matriarch Erin as well as President Hans Selberg, First Gentleman Miles Haugen, Ladies of the Matriarchal Council, Lady Terminus and some of our party leaders (Solvi Nørgaard, Lady Kari Erland, Catherine Harper, Hans Selberg).
Throughout this day (between the hours of 10:00 and 17:00) the delegations will be invited one at a time to head through to the Fjellberg Suite where you will be able to meet briefly with Astrid Haugen and her new child Lyra Haugen. We ask that delegations are calm, collected and quiet and don’t ask too many questions, Mrs Haugen and her baby will still be tired from the birth. Each delegation will be allowed 15 minutes with the pair and it should be noted that the Royal Skarlagen Guard will be present at all times, though are nothing to worry about if the delegation remains respectful.
At 18:00 dinner will be served consisting of three courses in the Grand Helligby Dining Hall, please note that vegetarian and other dietary requirements can and will be catered too:
Starter: Helligby Fiskesuppe (Helligby Fish Soup)
Pumpkin and Potato Soup
And a selection of Skarlagen breads and cheeses
Main: British Style Fish and Chips served with peas, carrots or mashed potato
Skarlagen Smørrebrød made with fish and chicken
Espendottir Fiskerett made just how Our Lady Saint Scarlett would have made it herself
Freshly Made Battenberg Cake
A Slice of Black Forest Gâteau
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Norwegian Style Apple Cake
Drinks: A fine selection of Parisian wines, as well as Skarlagen made ciders and beers. A range of soft drinks will also be available.
After dinner the dancing and festivities will resume for two more hours before the delegations will be asked to depart, free to explore the rest of Helligby and to stay as long as they please.
The Ministry requests you bring journalists with you in order to publicise this event across the world, though please do not photograph the baby or Mrs Haugen without her permission. Gifts will also be accepted but are not a requirement.
We look forward to seeing you.
