Dydw i ddim yn mwynhau'r gwiberod du yn y swyddfa

Introduction
Nhoor have pretty straight forward names. First names come in a masculine and feminine variant or are exclusively masculine or feminine. Childrenís family names are the fatherís by default but once they turn 18, they have the possibility to choose to keep their fatherís family name or adopt their motherís family name instead. Upon marriage, both men and women have the possibility to adopt their spouseís family name (which will then be added to their own with a hyphen) or to be called by their proper family name only. Very rarely someone effectively replaces his/her own family name by their spouseís without retaining his/her own.

Please note that the lists below are far from complete.
