Low Income Free Internet Act of 2019 <LAW>

The internet is a vital tool and many people lack the financial resources to pay private operators for service. Therefore the government shall provide subsidy to those with incomes under 20,000UTu OR any person on EDNPS benefits. The subscriber shall contact the private carrier of their choice and then inform the office of public aid of their selection so that they may receive free internet. The free internet package will vary from provider to provider however low income subsidy customers can expect to receive about 25MBps DSL or Cable internet at no cost.

To fund this program high wage earners earning over 150,000UTu per year will see a new monthly tax on their internet bill in the amount of 20UTu.
