Old Vencie Busts into War

(Venice City, Old Venice) - Old Venice was a place of violence the other day. After the Venetian government had been the victim of a coup, orchestrated by Nationalist forces. A revolution was in full swing, Nationalist forces occupying much of the nation. The boost in recent nationalism is attributed to the invasion and taking of land. Before the insurrection, the government had asked Vapian, Tanabonain, and Ariranganese troops to evacuate the country. Of course this was a logistical nightmare, and 150 Tanabonain Soldiers of the few thousand stationed there where still trapped in the base. Instead of surrendering to the enemy forces, the two F-4 Phantoms that hadn't left yet took to the sky to provide close air support for forces trapped in the base. Some Huey Gunships also took to the sky, but all but one was catastrophically destroyed. Both F-4 Phantoms where destroyed, its unknown if the crew survived or not.

In any case, the soldiers put on a last ditch defense. After a 39% casualty rate, they fell back into the base, but luckily had kept the forces at bay and left the airfield open for C130s carrying troops and supplies. In the sky, Ariranganese air power provided close air support to both Tanabonain forces and Venetian Loyalists. After a day or two, the Tanabonain strike force sent a team of the 82nd Airborne with renowned Second LT. Richard Hawkins, the brother of Ex-President Hawkins. Pockets of resistance are still being cleared out by loyalists and Tanabonains, but the revolution was just as short lived as the one before it. The unstable nation needs a way forward, and suggestions in sure are open to be taken.

COR Fights War on Two Fronts

(Haicheng, Lungha) - The Zyfaqir State of the Central Osean Republic (ZSCOR) has been rampant recently, after repeated attacks mostly aimed at Lungha. Most recently an OSEAN trade tower in the nation was hit by a terrorist attack. The hijacked aircraft slammed into the building, killing most of those inside. Eventually the building collapsed, killing hundreds of the firefighters in and around the building, along with other emergency personnel. Some of other, less notable incidents that should still be covered include the hijacking of a Lunghan cargo ship, and perhaps in the ramifications department the most notable and terrible offense was when they killed a notable leader of the Lunghan people.

Recently the country had declared war on the nation that the terrorist organization operates from, the Central Osean Republic (COR). Interestingly COR had been at war with the terrorist in country, and therefor is now fighting on two fronts. Some nations like the United States of Tanabon are reluctant to aid COR against the terrorist threat, as they don't want to incite war with Lungha. We can only hope that the two nations work out the issues and in the end will work to rid the nation of the Terrorist threat.

Entire populations of cities have been wiped out and the fighting is heavy on all sides. Child soldiers have been deployed on both sides and children have been taken from all cities between Kimbu COR and the Zyfaqir State of the Central Osean Republic (ZSCOR).

Fighting remains heavy and as I am standing here in the middle of what could be named a warzone, I am very vigilante.I also have numerous soldier escorts bringing me from place to place on risk of a surprise violent attack against the Kimbu stronghold of Mbaďki.

Tongan Jungle Adventure

(Vava'u Jungle, Tonga) - Some SNN explorers went out to the Islands of Tonga in the Vava'u Jungle to go exploring. Our first notes from them are here. They are interesting to say the least.

"Hello SNN Newsbooth we are here in the jungles of Tonga and we have just met the People's Covenant, which is a cult that originally came from the NEC but was forced to flee here during SNN's investigation of the group and i am here with their leader Jim Applewhite, so Jim why did you flee the NEC and settled here," says Yury Komarov

Jim Applewhite seems to have more of an approach to what he was doing. "Well we had to escape these Eurasian heretics and due to the SNN investigation into our holy society, after some defectors said something about widespread abuse and that we forced them to stay against their will. So basically we decided to move to jungle of Tonga and i considered moving the People's Covenant here even before the investigation. By the way you should join us as our guest Mr Komarov,"

More will be found in the near future about what they will see and what they will here. The Vava'u Jungle of the Islands of Tonga is very fascinating to say the least.
