New Assembly Vote (10 March 2019)

Assembly Announcement

A proposal has been introduced to amend Article 1 of the LinkLegislator Committee Act.

The debate thread is located Linkhere, and the voting thread is located Linkhere.

A motion and a second have been received to bring this amendment to a vote.

As this amendment is for a constitutional law, the voting period is five days and will require a three-fifths supermajority to pass. The vote will end on 15th of March, 2019, at 10:20 a.m. (UTC).

Legislator Committee Act

1. Scope

(3) A member of the Legislator Committee is removed from the committee if
a. a reconfirmation vote held every four months does not achieve a simple majority, or[/color]
b a. the member resigns, or
c b. the member loses legislator eligibility, or
d c. the member is recalled by the Assembly through regular order.

A reminder that to maintain Legislator Status, you must vote in at least half of the votes each month that there are two or more votes. (New legislators are exempt from votes they couldn't have been around for, of course.) Alternatively, if you have good reasons for absence, you may file a Linkleave of absence, or display other activity in the Assembly.
