The Creslonian National Air Force (CNAF) is the aerial and cyberspace warfare service branch of the Creslonian National Defence Force. As the newest branch of the Creslonian military in order of precedence, the modern CNAF has its roots in the Creslonian National Army Air Arm, which was formed on the 1st of January 1910, when the United States Aviation Section, Signal Corps shipped a Wright aeroplane to Creslonia. A high emphasis is placed on the reserve and civilian supporting aspects of the CNAF and CNDF in general.

As a uniformed military service, the CNAF is part of the Directorate of the Air Force, which is one of the three branch military directorates of the Ministry of Defence. The Creslonian National Air Force is headed by a civilian senior appointed civil servant, the Director of the Air Force and by a chief military officer, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force (CSAF) who is also a member of the Combined Chiefs of Staff. It is the third-largest military branch, and currently, the projected strength of the regular air force is 2,000 and 750 for the reservists. There are also 600 civilians working for and with the Air Force. The Creslonian National Air Force is the major air-based offensive and defensive force of the Republic of Creslonia.

As stated in the Creslonian Constitution, Article V, Section 3 (enacted by amendment):

The mission of the Air Force is to train, equip, and maintain competent combat-ready airborne forces capable of deterring aggression and preserving the peace, security, and sovereignty of the Republic of Creslonia and its allies.

The Creslonian National Air Force has its roots in the Creslonian National Army Air Arm. The United States Aviation Signal Corps shipped several Wright aeroplanes to Creslonia before World War 1 and the Air Arm equipped and organised itself during the First World War.

The Army Air Arm was reformed on the 1st of January 1919 following World War 1. The new Creslonian National Air Force was formed by the National Defence Act 1919 and the Constitution's article on defence was amended. The Air Force took part in the Creslonian Civil War, fighting the Creslonian Fascist Party and Army turncoats. Fighter-bombers performed very well during the Civil War.

The CNAF has participated in peacekeeping missions worldwide, although not to the extent of other branches. It primarily participates in overseas exercises, like the rest of the Defence Force.

The Creslonian National Air Force is organised by the central government. Conscription can be enacted during wartime through the Personnel Selection System.

The Air Force is the smallest branch of the Creslonian National Defence Force, although one of the most well-funded for its size. The CNAF employs a wide variety of aircraft, ranging from utility helicopters to fighter jets to heavy cargo planes. Aircraft are stationed either at Far-West Island Joint Force Base or East Island Joint Force Base. Both these combined arms CNDF bases have well-established Air Force sections, with well-maintained hangers and runways. The Creslonian National Air Force has the most funding and most aircraft for a country the size of Creslonia.

Aircraft are organised into squadrons (largest formation used by the Creslonian National Air Force), flights, and sections (smallest formations used by the CNDF). All are located at either Far-West Island Joint Force Base, West Island Joint Force Base, or the aircraft carrier RCS Gabriel Creslon.

The Army Air Arm wore light blue uniforms and these stayed during the Civil War and early 20th century. Presently, the Air Force wears light blue uniforms with light blue sidecaps and peacked caps for officers. Dress also light blue, with appropriate white epaulettes.
