[b][size=110]1. The Constitution[/size][/b]
1.1 This document is the official constitution of Dythinia.
1.2 It is the supreme law of the region.
1.3 Can only be edited by a 2/3 vote in the Senate and the Emperor's approval.

[b][size=110]2. The State[/size][/b]
2.1 The Nationstates region of [b][region]Dythinia[/region][/b] is an independent Empire ruled by the Emperor/Empress and those permitted to rule under his/her authority.

[b][size=110]3. The Emperor/Empress[/size][/b]
3.1 The Emperor/Empress is the head of state.
3.2 He/she appoints the Crown Prince/Princess. 
3.3 He/she is able to veto certain laws as established by this constitution.
3.4 He/she has the right to instruct and command the Consul and the Council of State.
3.5 He/she has the right to intervene during any decision making process taking place in the Council of State.
3.6 He/she has the right to issue Imperial Orders, with the force of law.
3.7 He/she shall preside over the Imperial Court.

[b][size=110]4. The Crown Prince/Princess[/size][/b]
4.1 He/she is appointed by the Emperor/Empress.
4.2 He/she rules with the authority of the Emperor/Empress within the limits established by the Imperial Person.
4.3 He/she replaces the Emperor/Empress when he/she is indisposed temporarily, becoming Crown Prince/Princess Regent.
. . . 4.3.1. He/she shall gain all powers of the Imperial Person as Regent, except those of Article 3.2 and 3.6.
4.4 If the Imperial Person cease to exist (CTE) or abdicates then the Crown Prince/Princess becomes Emperor/Empress.
4.5 He/she presides over the Senate and may cast an addtional tie break votes in the case of a tied vote.
4.6 He/she reviews proposition of laws and may block them if he/she judges them unconstitutional. (see Laws)
4.7 He/she approves raiding/defence targets proposed by the Proconsul.

[b][size=110]5. The Consul[/size][/b]
5.1 The Consul is a citizen, he/she is elected by the Senate by any majority for a term of 2 months.
5.2 Should there ever be a tie, a second vote shall be held no more than 2 days after the results are announced.
5.3 The Consul heads the executive branch of the region's government under the authority of the Emperor/Empress and within the limits established by the constitution and the Imperial Person.
5.4 He/she presides and leads the council of magistrates.
5.5 He/she is also the region's World Assembly Delegate.
5.6 The Senate may vote to remove the Consul from his position. The motion needs at least 2/3 of votes to pass.

[b][size=110]6. The Senate[/size][/b]
6.1 The Senate is the legislature of the region under the authority of the Emperor/Empress.
6.2 The Senate is composed of all those who have been citizens for a duration of at least 2 weeks.
6.3 Any voting citizen may propose a project of law to the Crown Prince/Princess.
6.4 The Crown Prince/Princess shall act as the speaker and head of the Caelestian Assembly.

[b][size=110]7. Magistrates[/size][/b]
7.1 They are appointed by the Consul.
7.2 They can dismissed by the Senate with a majority of at least 66% of votes. A dismissed magistrate can not be re-appointed for the duration of the current term.
7.4 They compose the council of magistrates (see The Council of State)

[b][size=110]8. Laws[/size][/b]
8.1 Laws can be proposed by any assembly member and will be debated and voted in the Senate. If a law passes the Senate vote with any majority, it becomes an official imperial law.
8.2 Should a law pass in the Senate it can be vetoed by the Emperor/Empress. 
8.3 All proposition of laws will be submitted to the Crown Prince/Princess, where they shall bring it to the floor of the Senate for debate.
8.4 The Imperial Person reserves the right to veto laws which may potentially endanger the structure of the region, the structure of the government or the power of any assembly or position.

[b][size=110]9. The Council of State[/size][/b]
9.1 The Council of State is composed of 5 magistrates.
9.2 It's role is to set out the governments plans and discuss the different issues regarding the region.
9.3 It's members are:
-The Consul who presides and leads the council and decides on the stance of the government on different matters.
-The Proconsul who is responsible for the Imperial Legion and matters related to war and raiding and has the power of raiding/defending regions with the approval of either the Crown Prince/Princess or the Consul should the former be indisposed. Should both be unreachable within 1 hour, the Legatus may approve the raid/defense instead.
-The Praetor who is responsible for interpreting the law, and shall serve as the Imperial Advocate on behalf of the government in the Imperial Court. The Praetor shall be responsible for charging citizens for breaking the law.
-The Legatus who is responsible for the foreign affairs of the Empire and has the authority of appointing ambassadors. Additionally, he has the task of proposing and accepting embassy requests and to terminate current embassies if the Council of State votes to do so.
-The Pontifex who is responsible with organizing and running the region's RPs as well as organizing cultural or social events. He has the authority to appoint RP moderators to help him in his task.

[b][size=110]10. The Vice Consul[/size][/b]
10.1 The Vice Consul is the person having obtained the most votes apart from the Consul-Elect in an official Consul election.
10.2 The Vice Consul replaces the Consul if he/she is unable to do his/her duties as determined by the Emperor/Empress.
10.3 The Vice Consul becomes Consul in case of a resignation or impeachment of the previous Consul.

[b][size=110]11. The Magister Equitum[/size][/b]
11.1 The Magister Equitum are the official assistants and deputies of the Crown Prince/Princess.
11.2 They are chosen and dismissed at will by the Crown Prince/Princess.
11.3 They operate with his/her authority and do any tasks asked of them by the Crown Prince/Princess.

12.1 The Magister Officiorum are the official assistants and deputies of the Emperor/Empress.
12.2 They are chosen and dismissed at will by the Emperor/Empress.
12.3 They operate with his/her authority and do any tasks asked of them by the Emperor/Empress
