Time

Everyday we say there's no time
Or we're too busy
We say we have other things to do
And "I'll take a break when I'm dead!"
And then we end up laying in our beds.

We suspect time to be a non existent thing
That we created to see each other
But now time has stopped us from seeing others

Time, Time it passes like a north wind
We don't see it, but it's there
Like eagle wings it flaps, causing a small ripple
Then fleeing the scene in search of something new

It passes and moves on, like the joys of 12AM New Years.
Then we're empty again.
And everything is normal.

We fight in the rat race killing for #1
But #1 makes us a target too
The cycle continues, much like Time
And your experiences are nothing like mine

The mines in which ores gallore comes from,
They collapse.
We collapse
Even a soaring eagle can fall
The land can erode and our souls can cry
But time runs free

Yet miners find new caves to exploit
Eagles get back up
We find our peace with others
The land is still beautiful
And It still serves a purpose

I'm not good at poetry. I just want to kind of spread a message.
