Vacant Position Amendment (Military Voting)
Purpose
The bill seeks to allow TLA citizens enrolled in any military to nominate oneself in by-elections.

If the Secretary position is vacated, the Prime Minister shall be promoted to the position
If the Prime Minister or Senator position is vacated 21 days or more before a general election, a by-election shall be held to the elect the new member
If a Justice position is vacated 21 days or more before a general election, the Secretary shall present a nominee to be confirmed in a two-day regional poll
If a Prime Minister, Senator, or Justice position is vacated fewer than 21 days before a general election, the Secretary shall appoint the new member
A by-election shall be held through the following process:
World Assembly citizens may nominate in a regional poll lasting one day
If no candidates nominate, the Secretary shall appoint the new member
If one candidate nominates, a regional poll lasting two days shall be held, with World Assembly citizens to approve or disapprove of said candidate
If multiple candidates nominate, the Secretary shall appoint a moderator to organise the offsite voting form and to count the ballot forms, and World Assembly citizens shall be eligible to cast a ballot ranking the candidates in order of preference
If the Secretary position is vacated, the Prime Minister shall be promoted to the position
If the Prime Minister or Senator position is vacated 21 days or more before a general election, a by-election shall be held to the elect the new member
If a Justice position is vacated 21 days or more before a general election, the Secretary shall present a nominee to be confirmed in a two-day regional poll, whereby Military Voting citizens can vote by stating their positions on the Regional Message Board
If a Prime Minister, Senator, or Justice position is vacated fewer than 21 days before a general election, the Secretary shall appoint the new member
A by-election shall be held through the following process:
World Assembly citizens may nominate in a regional poll lasting one day
Military Voting citizens may nominate themselves for Senator by-elections during the same period the above poll is active
If no candidates nominate, the Secretary shall appoint the new member
If one candidate nominates, a majority of World Assembly and Military Voting citizens shall be required to elect them during a two-day period in the following manner:
World Assembly citizens shall vote in a two-day regional poll
Military Voting citizens shall vote by stating their position on the Regional Message Board during the same period the above poll is active
If multiple candidates nominate, the Secretary shall appoint a moderator to organise the offsite voting form and to count the ballot forms, and World Assembly and Military Voting citizens shall be eligible to cast a ballot ranking the candidates in order of preference
