Vote for the Bee! Questions and Answers (Delegate Election Jan 2019)

I will be answering questions on my candidacy across RMB, Discord and the LinkTSP Forums. This dispatch is a record of my responses.

Vote for the Bee! 🐝

Esfalsa

"If elected, how do you plan on using the Delegate's WA voting powers? I know you mention listening to the CRS and Cabinet on "WA-Security matters," but do you have any ideas beyond that, or in the General Assembly?"

TL;DR
Vote Beepee for Communication, Transparency and Leadership on WA matters

Thank you, for your important question.

Naturally, I will use my powers for good rather than evil.

General Assembly matters affect nations differently; some want to be anarchic, some want to be authoritarian. There isn't a clear line that be drawn on most general resolutions for TSP as a whole. This is why most of our delegates have let this be and then followed the majority; there is sense in that.

I would intend to do a couple of things:

Firstly, try and bring resolutions to the attention of members quickly: possibly using dispatches, as per TNP or through MoFA, although I'd like to reserve that for Security Council matters.

Side note: In addition, bringing attention early to a matter can increase our influence on a subject, as some will simply follow the majority.

Also, If I have a strong opinion on something, I'm will happily to suggest/encourage members to vote a particular way at that point.

Secondly, I'd like to try to facilitate a discussion on the resolution, possibly RMBside but tying it through discord and forums if possible.

If there's a clear favourite at that point, I may well vote that way, otherwise I'd wait for a majority like Tsu and Erinor have in the recent past.

Having those open discussions and hearing the opinions is a comfortable and subtle way of showing reisdents that joining WA and subsequently SWANing is important. It also retains visibility for the Delegate and can nudge people towards wider integration.

Finally, I would seek to aid transparency by keeping and publishing a 'delegates voting record' highlighting:

1. Description or Title of Resolution
2. My Vote (For or Against)
3. TSP Vote (For and Against)

This would be an easy and visual way to show that I am working with and for the many nations of our great TSP.

Further to that... In the past, we've toyed with a WA officer to do this. There is some merit in that approach also, but I consider the Assembly and Cabinet, in particular MoFA and PM, would have to have serious/detailed discussions and make decisions on this topic.

Tsunamy

Glad to see you're running, Beepee.

My question is pretty straightforward. In your campaign thread you talk a lot about what you'd do as delegate, but you don't seem to address what experience you'd bring to the role. Can you explain a bit about what roles/experiences in TSP or elsewhere in NS have helped prepare you to be delegate?

TL;DR
Vote Beepee! Still Working Hard!

As I'm always the bridesmaid and never the bride. My TSP elected roles have been limited.

*glares Concrete Slab* (you know that was my one and only best chance right :) )

Since arriving at NS an therefore in TSP, despite my numerous failed attempts at winning public approval, I have loved being here and thrown myself with joyful abandon into all aspects of TSP life:

• I've been a Legislator for about a year, proposing new legislation,
• Frustrating/Assisting the courts (I'm waiting on a mock case for training),
• Ambassador for a few months (I think October - a MoFA subscriber for a little while longer - not sure of the date), having been nominated to ambassador for TNP, our most important ally, in December (LCRUA before that).
• I've been a MoRA helper since June.
• I was a member of the Civilian Army in the St. Abbadon matter, which was my first foray into the Army.

• I've been an ardent and active supporter of SWAN, see

We start tonight with a report from the South Pacific High Court, where New haudenousee confederacy has accused LC Concrete Slab of corruption.

The case is entering it's fifth page of testimonial.

Representing the complainant, North prarie claimed the actions of the Slab represented a 'clear violation' of the charter.

However, Slab has put forwarded an impassioned defence.

With complex and detailed tesrimonials and arguments from many sides, Chief Justice Kringle and Justice Belschaft will, one expects, soon be looking to reach a decision.

This case is one of two high profile cases currently under consideration of the Court.

The Review of the Certification of the November 2018 Local Council Election has heard it's final testimonials.

Our Panda-riffic Electoral Commissioner Pencil Sharpeners 2 appeared calm and resolute stating to Court that he felt the election was not influenced by illegal activity.

A decision could be expected soon.

On 27 November, The South Pacific issued a
statement
regarding the actions of the New Pacific Order (NPO).

As a result of the NPO actions, the Cabinet of the South Pacific has asked the Assembly to terminate the Treaty of Capricorn with the New Pacific Order.

The potential revocation is now at vote in the Assembly.

Our Assembly is busy ensuring our laws protect and enhance our region.

Over the past few days a number of votes have come into Assembly members.

The latest votes include

•Repealing the treaty of Capricorn (at vote).
•Adding defamation to the criminal code (at vote).
•Changes to the electoral commissioner role and elections Act (Passed 29 votes to 5, 9 abstentions)
•Adding extortion ofnthe criminal code (passed 32 votes to 0, 5 abstentions).

The final vote for the Local Council elections concluded earlier this morning with Aidenfieeld taking the coveted final spot by only 2 Votes from former Councillor Auphelia.

The LC is now confirmed as:
The Solar System Scope
Concrete Slab, and
Aidenfieeld

This years election was marred by some external interference. Our Panda-riffic Electoral Commissioner Pencil Sharpeners 2 issued the following statement:

Official Statement from the Election Commissioner

The LC election has now concluded. After some discussions regarding TSP law and considering the situation carefully, I have decided that this result will stand and the election will be considered to be legitimate. Here is a full explanation of the events.

Yesterday I received a report that Techolandia had been sending telegrams to Auphelia voters over the last couple of rounds, in an attempt to change their votes. There is no problem with this tactic, however the Telegram contained quotes which were taken out of context and edited to misrepresent Auphelia's views - which may be defamation. TSP does not have any laws against defamation, either in the LC laws or in the forumside laws. However, defamation is against the NationStates rules.

This brings us onto TSP's Criminal Code.
Section 1.10 states "Conduct violations shall be defined as breaking in-game NationStates rules."
Section 2.2 states "Conduct violations are punishable by immediate ejection and banishment from the region, albeit punished parties may appeal this decision to the court. In most cases, nations that appeal the decision and apologize should expect to have their ban lifted.

While the forumside LC laws do not apply to LC elections, and the LC laws do not contain guidance for Election Commissioners, if a Conduct Violation was found to have occurred, I would have re-run the last two rounds (which were affected by the aforementioned Conduct Violation).

Since Techolandia's Telegram had been reported to the NS moderators, I was waiting upon their response to determine my next move. The response from the mods was as follows: "I'm seeing selective and possibly out of context quote content in the attached telegram, but the quotes haven't changed what Auphelia posted. Is it political and underhanded? Certainly. Does it break the Malicious Quote Editing rule? Not really."

Due to this ruling, the Telegram did not break any TSP laws. A discussion was had with the Cabinet, and after considering the actions, evidence, and our laws, I have made the decision to allow this result to stand.

Congratulations to the new LC and commiserations to those unfortunate nations this time.

We have received a special report from KTN News, Skylar Briggs

International news | Ryccia threatens Frost to allow military through blockade
By Skylar Briggs, KTN News
Tuesday, 13 November 2018

Monteros (KTN) — On Tuesday, the Worker's Party of Reizen announced their formal withdrawal from the Non Aggression Pact, accusing the Reizen Democratic Party of recruiting Ryccian mercenaries. After the withdrawal, Ryccia issued an ultimatum demanding their military allowed to pass the Frost blockade. However, similar threats have been made by Ryccia in the past that have not been acted upon. Valkyrian Chancellor Margaret Harrison issued a written statement condemning Ryccia, "The new threat made by Ryccia against the Imperial Frost Federation is a serious breach of Frost's national sovereignty and cannot be tolerated. The Valkyrian Republic demands that Ryccia respects international law and the sovereignty of its fellow states. If Ryccia breaches the Frost blockade, we will convene an emergency meeting of the World Forum for recourse against Ryccia."

Vulturret's post comes after last week's decision by the South Pacific High Court that it could not hear an appeal against the proscription of the region. 1. Against any group, you cannot intentionally commit violence, imprison, banish, or kill them. This affects all groups, including those doing these very things, conspirators, extremists, illegitimate regimes, invading armies, radicalized sects, terrorist cells, and traitors.
2. It's okay if the imprisonment, banishment, or execution of the individuals in a group is systemic, just not if it's systematic. Institutionalized prejudice is fine, you just have to displace or murder the group slowly over time.
3. "Renders crimes against humanity any acts of genocide against any group on the basis of economic status or employment". Best case scenario: This use of "renders" is interpreted as "represents or depicts artistically". Worst case: "provide or give" or "cause to be or become". This clause is somewhere between meaningless and horrifying.
4. The only good clause riding on the backs of a civil rights nightmare.

This whole thing needs to be rewritten to include specific, defined groups and defined protections provided. Personally, I would like a resolution that protects against the mass imprisonment or murder of people based on race, religion, or sex, too.

Quick and Easy Christmas SPIT

South Pacific Iced Tea (SPIT) is our regional drink. Originally an unholy concoction of left over alcohol, SPIT has evolved into the respectable drink of the masses.

Why not impress your IRL friends and family with this Christmas version. It's as refreshing as Midandian's Finest.

Makes about 1 litre (4 cups)
Prep time 15 mins (plus cooling time)

SPIT is best enjoyed on the day. However, and I dont know why there would be a need, Christmas SPIT will last a couple of days if refrigerated.

4 Peppermint tea bags
1/3 cup Caster sugar
2 Limes (sliced)
2 Cinnamon sticks
Fresh mint
3 cups Soda water (chilled)
Crushed ice
For the adult version: 1 cup bacardi

Place 4 peppermint tea bags and 1 cup of boiling water in a heat proof jug.

Stir in 1/3 cup of caster sugar (until dissolved)

Allow to stand for 10 minutes.

Strain into a serving jug, and discard the tea bags.

Allow to cool.

Add 2 sliced limes, 2 tablespoons of fresh mint leaves, 2 cinnamon sticks and 3 cups of chilled soda water. (If making the adult version, add 1 cup Bacardi)

Give it a quick stir to mix.

Serve topped with crushed ice and garnish with fresh mint

-----

South Pacific Iced (SP-ICED) biscuits

These biscuits not only taste delicious but also smell great - filling your house with scent of Christmas.

They're also easy to make and can make excellent Christmas gifts (they can even be left out for santa).

They can be stored for up to 4 days in an air tight container.

Makes about 20 (depends on size)
Prep time 10 mins, chilling time 40 mins, cooking time 10 mins.

For biscuits
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
75g unsalted butter, chopped
1/4 cup golden syrup

For icing
100g icing sugar
Milk or water

Sift the flour into a large bowl.

Add the sugar and spices and mix

Rub in the butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Add in the golden syrup and mix to form a soft dough.

Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1-2 mins until dough is smooth.

Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 30 mins.

Meanwhile, line a couple of baking trays with non-stick baking paper and preheat Your oven to 180C or 160C fan-forced.

Roll the chilled dough on a slightly floured surface until about 5mm thick.

Use cookie cutters or cut shapes from dough.

Place on prepared trays, allowing room for spreading. Chill for a further 10 mins.

Bake for 10 mins until pale golden and allow to cool on trays.

Whilst cooling mix 100g of icing sugar with a couple of teaspoons of water or milk to create a smooth but soft/wet paste. Use to decorate your biscuits.

Pavlova

Pavlova is the quintessential IRL South Pacific Christmas Dessert. (both Australia and New Zealand claim to have invented it.)

Pavlova is easy to make and eat. And can look stunning, it's sure to wow your guests.

Light, crumbly and fresh, this easy to make recipe should ideally be eaten on the day or at a push the next. If you don't top the Pavlova, it should keep for a couple of days in an airtight container if kept cool - but don't refridgerate.

Prep time 10 mins
Cooking time 1½ hours + cooling

4 egg whites
1 cup caster sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp cornflour

For topping, whipped cream and fruit of your choice.

Preheat oven to 130°C, 110 for fan forced.

With an electric mixer beat egg whites im a small bowl until soft peaks form.

Make the meringue by adding the sugar, lemon juice and sifted cornflour, and beat on a high speed until stiff and glossy (normally at least 10 minutes).

Cover a baking tray with baking paper.

Pile the meringue onto the baking paper and shape into a largish circle, leaving the centre slightly hollowed.

Bake for approximately 1½ hours or until crisp on the outside.

Turn the oven off and leave the pavlova to cool in the oven with the door ajar.

Decorate with whipped cream and fruit and berries.

-----

Cheats Mince Pies

Whilst we all love Christmas food, Christmas isn't about slaving over a hot barbecue. It's about time with family and friends.

If you're pressed for time, take shortcuts. You can still make a tasty snack which looks great and will make your friends and family feel extra special.

Prep time 10 mins
Cooking time 20 mins

Ready roll shortcrust pastry
1 jar mixed fruit mincemeat
Icing sugar to decorate

Preheat oven to 200°C, 180 for fan forced or as per your pastry sheet instructions.

Cut circles from the pastry large enough to reach 2/3rds of a muffin or to cup the base of a bun tin.

Fill the pastry cups until 2/3rds full with the mincemeat mixture.

Cut smaller circles, stars or fancy shapes to be 'lids' to the pies.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow to cool. Remove from tray. Sprinkle with icing/confectioners sugar.

Serve and enjoy.

VOTE BEEPEE FOR LC!

So, in my previous campaign speeches I've discussed a couple of different things that I thought we could do to make things even more fun on the RMB.

I'd like to suggest some or all of following fun-ness:

Panda Fridays!

Everyone loves pandas! And what's not to love? they are fat, fluffy and full of fun! Friday's are also fat, fluffy and full of fun!

Let's celebrate all things RMB with Panda Fridays! Each Friday we could something different:

  • Friday photography competition
Post the best photo you have taken in a dispatch. Up-vote for a participation medal.

  • Friday Night Disco!
Dust of your best lampshade, put on your dancing shoes and post your favourite song.

  • Friday Frights!
Let's all sneak up behind Erinor and endorse him. He'll never know what hit him!

  • RMB Quiz Night
We all love a good quiz!
Question 1: Will you vote Beepee for LC?

  • Honestly, I have thousands of stupid ideas everyday, you're bound to find one you like.

Dispatch Disaster!

Ever wondered...what would happen to your shiny capital city if a tornado touched down? How about a wildfire burns through your leaders favourite national park? Maybe mermaids learn how to walk and wage war on a coastal community! That's DISPATCH DISASTER!

A dispatch writing competition where you produce a dispatch (either serious or funny, short or long) about what happened before, during and after a disaster befalls your nation.

Let your creative juices flow and up-vote to win a participation medal!

Funday Flag Day!

That flag! *shakes head* You've had the same one since forever. How would you like a shiny new one?

How about a flag designing competition! Change your flag! Design a better flag for someone else. Get compliments on how artistic you are. Criticise grandpa in the corner who couldn't work out how to change his.

Most likes wins a participation medal.

10min compliments

This one is my favourite game!

Choose someone;
• our beloved delegate,
• an LC member,
• someone who needs a pick-me-up

and have a ten minute blitz on the RMB. Every person says one (or more) things about why the chosen special one is the greatest!

We've done this twice now once for our LCs and once for our delegate, and a couple of example posts:

Beepee wrote:We are giving positive statements about our current LCs...

Hanguk-Nippon wrote:Uhh, Erinor is the best because he keeps the RMB from falling into chaos.

First Past the Poll Wins!

We all love polls! Sometimes polls are serious, sometimes they're not! But we all agree polls are the best.

Did you know that the South Pacific isn't the only region that does polls? Did you know that some regions let outsiders vote in their polls? Let's all go poll dumping and vote in those other regions polls.

Imagine that region with only 4 citizens getting 700 votes, imagine how happy they'd be when they have to change their regional mascot to the South Pacific llama. Participate for a medal!

These are the stuff of dreams, my friends!

Harmakmis

Do you have a slogan as catchy as me?

Dearest Sandaoguo asked

"Regarding security, which people & groups do you consider to be security concerns for TSP? Are you focused on imminent threats, groups with long histories of threatening our security, or both?"

TL;DR
Vote Beepee for Our Security

Thank you for your question.

It is often hard to predict what regions, groups or organisations will do. Whether new groups will become hostile or old foes will seek to undermine our glorious Coalition. We need to be mindful of the past at the same time recognising new threats as they arise. In terms of my, and our security services, focus it must be both.

Recently and in the past we've seen groups and individuals threaten and impact upon our great South Pacific and we have a list of proscribed and banned nations and organisations to this end. We've seen individuals attempt to infiltrate, poison and undermine our coalition, our community, our family. These threats are not uncommon. Our size, our democracy and our status renders us a target to many, but also provides us with great opportunities.

Our excellent CRS, MoFA and MoMA have provided us with a period of great stability and protected us from threats both foreign and domestic. Their tireless work for the greater good is often underrated and unappreciated by the masses.

The recent additions to the CRS, Seraph and Nakarisaune bolster the ranks of the CRS and ensure and maintain a strong and stable Council.

I want to see our CRS have the freedom to undertake their work without undue interference and for them to continue to serve and protect our community.

I applaud our brave men and women of the SPSF. Our forces and our MoMA continually surprises and inspires all of us to do more and to do better.

Our forces provide support and relief to our allies and battle bravely against those who would seek to threaten our existence and our TSP family.

Recent events have shown us that our military needs to be maintained, enhanced and supported.

I want to support and encourage our citizens with drive and energy to undertake their civic duty and become recruits in our forces. Maintaining our focus on actions which preserve our own regional interests and those of our allies.

Our MoFA is one of our greatest assets. Our ability to work with our allies and encourage new partners to work with and alongside us, is integral to our peaceful and supportive existence.

Encouraging those with the capacity and attitude to undertake important ambassadorial duties is a vital component to our support.

Finally I want to also also thank our moderation teams efforts, which often gets overlooked. The work which you do to protect and enhance our way of life is vitally important.

The sakhalinsk empire

Do you consider there to be an "oligarchy" in TSP, or do you consider it as merely a group of experienced individuals?

That's a great question Sakh!

There are a solid core of very experienced individuals in the Cabinet and high ranking positions within TSP. That to some extent also makes it appear as an 'oligarchy', but the people in these positions are there because they've demonstrated commitment to our community and are experienced at doing their bit. Their experience is necessary and invaluable for ensuring regional safety and painting our own identity. Those who haven't had the same commitment have 'wandered' away.

What TSP should avoid is always the same group of people sharing around the top jobs in some sort of endless loop. Ensuring newer people with time, experience and ideas are able to grow and develop in the region. We've seen over the past year newer players within the Region, like myself, NP, CS, Aiden and others, take on lower level but important jobs, promote interaction, working with the established nations, and doing our bit for the growth and stability of the Region.

We've done this because we love this community. We love the diverse range of people, characters, and thoughts that proliferate our glorious TSP.

As a newer entry to NS, it's important to build that trust and that level of respect. One should not assume one can become delegate or a cabinet member on the back of their arrival. By the same token, delegacy should not be limited by the assembly to those who have been in the region since antiquity.

I've posted elsewhere that I believe I have shown that commitment, that drive and that self initiative to break any perceived 'glass ceiling'. I've consistently demonstrated the values one would expect of a delegate.

I stated in my campaign launch that the Assembly has fretted about the disconnect, perceived or otherwise from the gameside/RMB communuty.

This election affords the Assembly an opportunity to demonstrate it's commitment to gameside and newer nations by voting for me, a candidate who crosses the boundaries between the offsite and onsite platforms, that has demonstrated over the past year a caring, active and community minded spirit.

Oh hello there cute little doggo of Midand *pats you affectionately*

How will you plan on finally (and hopefully fully) uniting gameside, forumside, and discord...side? As you talked about in your campaign dispatch, you've talked about better working with the LC and MORA. Is there anything else planned with this? Considering that the gap seems to grow, I long to see the day in which it happens.
Can you elaborate on your plans? How will you ensure this accomplished?

How do you do it, Beepee? Just, how?

Are there any other big changes you plan to bring about the Coalition?

TL;DR
Vote Beepee for tireless dedication to all areas of TSP and a friendly guiding hand for newbies

Thank you. This is an important question and not an easy one to answer. (If it were easy it'd have been done already). Expect a tome!

Before I start, I need to make a few things clear. Firstly, there is still a connection, all is not lost and all is not as bad as it seems. Secondly, its a lot of work to get that cross spectrum connectivity. Thirdly, it can't be done alone, it needs a concentrated effort but that effort needs a driver - it can be left to it's own devices.

The delegate has a responsibility for all parts of TSP, they are the visible side of the Coalition for many of our citizens. Whilst the Assembly, Cabinet and CRS properly and appropriately carry out their functions offsite. The delegate must straddle the fine line between the many areas of TSP.

Since my founding in NS, I have been consistent and visible face in TSP jurisdictions. I have sought to bring the actions of the Assembly to the gameside in a fun, friendly and consistent manner, through journalism, activities and events, and welcoming and integration. I've tried to take the gamesides opinion into consideration as changes have been proposed to, say, election laws and security matters and I've encouraged others to join the Assembly and promoted our of site forums.

Our most respcted MoRA, headed by the ever loveable Pencil Sharpeners 2 has been a stalwart and has been excellent at driving forward our regional activities and goals, interacting and promoting events. United States of Vietnam has done excellent work on Dispatch Organsiation and redevelopment. I cannot praise the work of all MoRA enough. It's a big job and it needs to be congratulated on the good work its doing. Long may it continue!

But by the same token there are areas of improvement. Some of our integration dispatches are overly long or outdated. Whilst the intent is laudable and with best intentions. This hinders some from seeking to take the next step from to Assembly.

Our welcoming and friendly LC are often the first interaction new nations have with TSP Government. The excellent rates of activity in that team are a testament to their dedication to the TSP family.

In order not to frighten away new nations LC often presents the Assembly and further TSP Governmental information to new nations in a simplified and easy to access way. This should continue. With my activity levels and regular RMB interaction, I believe I am one of the strongest candidates to support that team and to guide people discord and forum side.

The MoRA can be our most accessible area for a new legislator or citizen to take their first steps into civic service. Our welcoming and integration section, I believe may be becoming a high priority for them. Should I be elected, The MoRA will continue to get my full support to carry out their functions and activities and MoRA can expect me to support their moves to improve integration and undertake activities.

Our TSPforums can a scary place. It's layout and language, although necessary, could be offputting to some. I believe, at the moment a new legislator needs to be built up in confidence on the ways of our Assmebly. Amerion has supported and been an excellent positive CoA; we are delighted with 'Stewie G's' patience and work. I would be delighted if likes of amerion became our knowledgeable and welcoming standard, whilst maintaining that robust and insightful discussion required to ensure robust legislation.

I appreciate the RMB is fast moving and scary, particularly for those who haven't visited in a while. But we can see the excitement that having a delegate or a cabinet member on the RMB causes. It causes excitement the likes of which haven't been seen since the Beatles. I wouldn't say that the Delegate and Cabinet are bigger than the Beatles... but maybe.

If elected, I would encourage the PM and Cabinet to visit and post on the RMB semi-regularly. It doesn't have to be daily, or for a lengthy period per day for example, but visit say hi, Promote their activities, actions and provide updates would be beneficial.

I will active my journalistic integrity to provide regular meaningful updates of Assembly matters to the RMB, through Delegates updates etc. And encourage those with the time and inclination to sign up.

I'll continue to support MoRA with fervour. We have highly involved, interesting individuals and resources which could benefit our MoRA even in junior roles. I'd encourage those with community minded spirit to get involved.

Can I have a spot by your throne when you begin your eternal rule as overlord?

Yes... you can be my lapdog!

Amerion asked

What are your thoughts on the state of The South Pacific as a whole? Where do you believe we can improve on (beyond what you have already elaborated in your campaign)?

TL;DR
Vote Beepee - Keeping TSP Awesome!

Thank you for your wonderful question.

I think the state of TSP is generally good.

We have a lot to be proud of.

In my previous answers I've highlighted some of the extraordinary work done in our wonderful home making a strong, stable and friendly region. It's not perfect, but nothing ever is.... (Well except you Amerion, you're always perfect!)

We have sound institutions and many clearly defined, tried and tested policies and laws (save a couple).

One area I haven't touched on for praise, yet, is our High Court and the excellent work our Honourable Justices do. Their work ethic, their professionalism and their ability to ensure a fair and thoughtful process has always been of the highest standard... even if, as individuals, we may not always agree with the decision.

We have a solid mix of established and newer nations. That mix keeps things interesting and fresh.

We have a vibrant RMB and RP family.

As Assembly members we worry, as many communities and families, do about the state of our community: are we open, friendly, welcoming, encouraging, retaining members, providing opportunities for our young, and so on.

We are.

Yes, we can do more, we can always do more and that burden should not always fall to the same individuals, to ensure that burnout, fatigue or dismay doesnt set in.

I've set out elsewhere minor tinkering and improvements and what I feel are the key areas that need to be focussed on over the next six months, I won't reiterate them here.

The Solar System Scope asked a really long winded question.

What do you plan to do if things do not seem to go your way, like if the various ministries or other governmental bodies do not seem to be willing or capable of cooperating with you in the way you want or cannot carry out your plans for the region?

Nothing like starting off on a positive, eh? I can work with the ministers, I love them all with all my heart.

The Ministers are the ones charged with running the government and their respective ministries. If I were elected, I would offer my support, encouragement and assistance to them in whatever way I can help.

If a Ministers do not want that, that's fine; they are the Minister and it their decision.

I trust our Government to work in the best interests of the Region.

What is your opinion with the relations we have to other regions? Is there some region you would like to strengthen or weaken our bonds with?

I think our relationship with most other regions is fine. There will always be those who dislike or distrust TSP and to them I say, I'm sorry you feel that way. (But we rock!)

I don't think weakening bonds with our alliances is appropriate in normal cases.

Over the next six months, I would love if we could do some event possibly with the North or Forest, but it's a lot of work to organise and I think we maybe need to do more internal housekeeping first.

Why do you keep making answers that are incredibly long-winded? :P

Because.
