The Laws for Robotics

With the rapid development of thinking and conscious machines and robots, many of which have developed human emotion and character, these new people have the same inalienable rights as other citizens and residents of this great nation. Out of this purpose, and the continued development and use of machines and robotics, that all developers, regardless if they be private or public, adhere to the following ethics of robotics:

Zeroth Law - A robot may not harm humanity, or by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.

First Law - A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm except when required to do so in order to prevent greater harm to humanity itself.

Second Law - A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law or cause greater harm to Humanity itself.

Third Law - A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws or cause greater harm to Humanity itself.
