Sportsmanship in Janus, a few rules to follow

Janus
Good Sportsmanship Guide

Introduction:
The right to your fun only ends where another's begin

In order for everyone to have fun, and be able to role play properly, a few guidelines need to be put into place to prevent certain people from ruining the experience for others. The following should be used as a guide, and may be used by admin for banning grounds:

Puppet policy:
You are welcome to have as many nations as you want in Janus, so long as you understand these are all different nations, with different objectives and goals. They may interact with each other in any way you deem correct, however, it is not allowed to use puppets to “gain” the system, such as a ‘vassal swarm’ or similar economic policies. If not, the game just becomes a race to see who creates more puppets.

Publicity of Roleplay
All canon communication with other nations, treaties or secret communications, must be done in the open with utmost transparency. This is to avoid secret treaties, but also to allow others to build of the stories you leave.

No “marysuestan” or godmodding.
No country is perfect, made of elite soldiers that are each worth 10000 other's peoples or anything the such. If everyone starts doing this, we get nowhere. Stats should be your primary source for inspiration, as well as issues and the like.

No meta gaming.
This simply means using knowledge outside your nations knowledge to take decision. If neighbour X is about to invade me, but no one in my country knows, I shouldn't act on this knowledge.

If you respect these few rules and otherwise behave in an appropriate fashion you will be most welcome and appreciated here!
