Swaden Lands in Faroe Islands

Yesterday, the Keepo Republic struck Swaden after failing to respond to their demands. The Keepan Armed Forces caught the Swadenian garrison completely off guard, and while thry fought bravely, were hopelessly overrun.

Later that day, twenty-thousand brave Swadenian paratroopers took off, on a mission to recover the island. Unfortunately, they were shot down as they were approaching they drop zone.

The Keepan Navy also patrols the waters around the Faroe Islands, preventing a Swadenian naval invasion.

However, in what could only be described as a miracle, a Swadenian Task Force managed to sneak by Keepan patrols, landing on the southern part of the main island. While only a few thousand strong, this beachhead has renewed faith in the Swadenian High Command.

There are an estimated thirty thousand Keepan Marines on the island, armed to the teeth with imported Blanji and Ulmian equipment.

This has lead to Swaden accusing the supposed “neutral” nations of Blanjiland and Ulm Reich of involving themselves on the Keepan side.

Blanji Diplomats claimed they had sold the Keepo Republic weapons years ago, when the former government feared a potential coup.

Ulmian Officials completely deny any involvement with the Keepo Republic, despite their constant interventionism in the war, attenpting to broker a peace between the two.

As the conflict escalates, there is a chance yet another war could erupt between Blanjiland and Swaden.
