What is the World Cup 2018 all about?
Presented by The North Pacific's Ministry of Culture, the World Cup 2018 is an opportunity for nations of The North Pacific to put forward their national football team to compete against all others for the glory of winning the following trophy:
Who is hosting the World Cup?
The hosts for the World Cup 2018 are 
Territorio di Nessuno and Highton islands! They are represented in the official logo of the World Cup. The world cup will take place in the Northern Crystal Stadium in Magicality City.
What are the rules?
Nations are only allowed to submit one team each into the World Cup competition. Otherwise the standard rules of roleplay apply. Of course, the results posted by the hosts for your team must be respected - even if you dislike them!
How will the scoring work?
The World Cup hosts Nessuno and Highton will input the team data into a scorinator that will release the results of each game. These results will be posted onto the regional forum on a regular basis. It will be up to each nation to interact with these results. This could include roleplaying part of the game from your teams perspective, showcasing some of your commentators or national broadcasters delivery the results back to your home nation, or just about anything else you can think of!

I don't know much about football, can I still participate?
Yes, of course! The Minister of Culture certainly knows next to nothing about it either. You don't have to be an expert to enjoy the fun.
If you want to participate without roleplaying a sports team, you can participate in other ways. Write national broadcast coverage of the entire event. Or if you have a taste for capitalism, put forward a corpoate sponsor of the World Cup that can be featured between each game. You can nominate sponsors here
