DAY NINETEEN-OVERVIEW

As the end drew nearer, athletes scrambled to secure medals.

In the women's gymnastics finals, there were dramatic scenes as gymnasts competed for medals in the Uneven Bars and Balance Beam disciplines. In the Uneven Bars, The glorious king edmund bagged gold, while Great americalia, with their superstar athlete Simona Bile, claimed silver. In the Balance Beam, The Commonwealth of the Wyvern claimed gold while Alfeilm won the silver medal.

In the rugby finals, the team from Liki islands narrowly kept the opposition from The edmund islands back, winning gold. The Edmund Islanders will have to settle for silver.

In the Athletics Stadium, there were high stakes as 14 gold and 14 silver medals were up for grabs. Surprisingly, The Commonwealth of the Wyvern grabbed the most medals, with a record 5 golds and 4 silvers. Alfeilm came next with 3 gold and 5 silver. Great Edmundia won 3 gold and 4 silver. South shapia won 2 gold and a silver. Liki islands won a gold.

The nail-biting mixed gymnastics quarter-finals also took place. Gymnasts competed hard to secure places in the semi-finals.

In the Rowing Centre, there was controversy during the quarter-finals race. The boat from Central yikestopia was somehow rammed by the Edmundian newingtonian boat. Both boats sank and their crews had to swim to safety. The teams from Imperiue, Libertian edmundia, Liki islands and New edmundia made it to the semi-finals of the competition.

Tomorrow, we have the mixed gymnastics and rowing semi-finals to look forward to. What fun!

DAY TWENTY-OVERVIEW

There was plenty of action in Rydesville as the last two events of the Games got underway.

In the Gymnastics Centre, the athletes failed to disappoint as two bronze medals and four places in the finals were available. The Commonwealth of the Wyvern snagged the bronze for Vault, while Alfeilm claimed bronze for Floor.

In the rowing, the competitors gave us a glimpse into what the finals would be like. The races were extremely close. In one race, the teams from Imperiue and Liki islands were in a dead tie. The race had to be settled with a coin toss. The Imperiueians ended up winning the coin toss, earning a spot in the finals along with Libertian edmundia. New edmundia won bronze.

Tomorrow, the mixed gymnastics and rowing finals will wrap up the Games, and the Closing Ceremony will be held tomorrow night.
