Primitive tea?

OOC: This came after answering the issue 'Trouble Brewing', number 768.

Here's a link to the Mzeusian Library which has every dispatch.

Here's a link to The Dispatch Writing Guide to help you write a good dispatch.

IC: Dear Mzeusians, dear fellow tea lovers, today is a sad day. The once admirable people running the WA Census reacted very badly to something we have done. After simply deciding that the nation should stop to enjoy afternoon tea, they declared that this Most Serene Republic has become more primitive as a result.

It is in this dispatch that we display our outrage for the world to see.
Listen you people at the WA Census and Co, to drink tea is a most refined, most culturally enriching thing. Drinking Mzeusian tea is a pleasure like no other and it demonstrates a civilised populace. To then claim that this elixir of youth is not simply not civilised but positively primitive is the most disgusting of insults.

Making Mzeusian tea is an elaborate process that has been perfected over thousands of years and it is a symbol of national pride, soothing nerves since its creation. To attempt to undermine that pride and that national spirit that is attached, is despicable.

We would further argue that not stopping for an afternoon tea, Mzeusian or otherwise is in fact the uncivilised thing to do. Rushing around with tea in a can as one person suggested, is in fact the giving in to our basic animal instincts for power and survival. This is the primitive option, not taking time to enjoy a sophisticated beverage.

Following this grave insult, we hereby reject all further thoughts of the WA Census on what Mzeusia is like and demand a letter of apology from them.

We understand that mistakes can and do happen and should the WA Census team admit their mistake, we would be more than happy to continue to accept the measuring methods they use as legitimate. Until a reply has been issued that sufficiently apologises for the appalling circumstances however, Mzeusia will be on very bad terms with them.

To leave you with the words of Moe Ilkasa, one of the founding fathers, "Nobody should ever again insult this nation of possibilities. We have Mzeusian tea and they have nothing."

More may be added depending on what kind of a reaction we are given.

It has been a few days now and we still have not gotten a reply. This further demonstrates the blatant disrespect the people of the WA Census have for Mzeusia and our tea. Shame on them all, shame.
