Initially founded in 1901 as Korvanjund Sports Association and refounded in January 17th 1979 under it's current name, Sanctuary FK is a football club based in Korvanjund, the capital of The Aquarian Islands. It's named after the Island of Sanctuary, in which the capital was built in.

In 1980, two years after the Unification of The Aquarian Islands, Sanctuary was one of the ten founding clubs of the Aquarian Football Association (Aquarian Fotballforening, in Aquarian Norse), having always played in the top tier of Aquarian football since then. Sanctuary FK has won the Aquarian National League in four different occasions: In 1989, 1991, 2014 and 2017, the latter title which guaranteed the club a spot in the Red Wolf Alliance Soccer League. Sanctuary FK also won the AFF Cup in seven occasions (1989, 1990, 1992, 1997, 2001, 2016, 2017), being the team with most titles in the competition.

Sanctuary FK holds it's matches in the 32Red Stadion, built in 2004 on the vicinity of Uklarhet Acres, Korvanjund, under the name of Sanctuary Arena. Regarded as one of the most technologically advanced stadiums of the country, the stadium has a capacity of 29.000 attendants, the biggest of the league, and has hosted over 200 league games, 30 international football matches and 10 AFF Cup finals. in 2012 the facility was renamed after the club's current sponsors, the british casino network 32Red.

Sanctuary are known as The Lions (Den Løver) due to their crest, and have a fierce local rivalary with AFC Korvanjund, another AFF founder team, with which they compose The Capital Derby (De Hovedstad Derby). Being the current Aquarian title holders, Sanctuary FK comes into the first season of the RWA Soccer League season with every chance of salvaging something big, with their hectic, fast-paced, short passing style.
