National Playlist - An Audiovisual Tour of the Pan-Asiatic States

I've been inclined to do what many others have done before, due to the sheer number of tracks I want to fit into my sig. These are songs that didn't quite make the cut, but are definitely foundational sources of inspiration from which I built the Pan-Asiatic States upon. Some, on the other hand, are tracks that seemed to represent the people, history, and culture of my nation so near to how I'd envisioned it to be. Enjoy!

Special thanks to Zitravgrad for giving me the initial idea, and from whom I.. uh.. requisitioned... this neat format from.

1) Song of the Kamikaze Pilots
LinkYou see policemen apprehend four men wearing white bandanas, out of an odd-looking black van blasting this song...

2) Moranbong Band - ???
LinkNeo-Manila: A city of pioneers. A city of dreamers. A city of undercurrents, where not everything is as it seems.

3) Without the Communist Party, There Would be No New China!
LinkWhile waiting for the MagLev Train, bugles start blaring on the PA to remind everyone why they aren't licking the boots of some Imperial officer.

4) Learn From Lei Feng's Good Example!
LinkUnlike kepitalist Amerika, there are more statues of people who were just all-around nice guys than there are for saints.

5) Campuchia-Việt Nam-Lào Samaki
LinkUnlike in our universe, Indochinese people don't brood as often.

6) The Ballad of Ho Chi Minh
LinkOne of the billboards above Shibuya Crossing advertises some sort of Superhero TV series for kids about Ho Chi Minh. You can't read it quite clearly.

7) Plagpul - Pula ang Kulay ng Pag-Ibig (Red is the Color of Love)
LinkThere's something enchanting about meeting your Assigned Wife for the first time... You never thought eugenics could be so romantic.

8) Madder Sky - Orchestral Cover [Code Geass]
LinkWhen you charge an Israeli Fascist with your bayonet, the whole world stops to thank you for your righteous deed.

9) Frederic - Kanashii Ureshii
LinkIn February, the clonal students of Bagong Katagalugan High School hold a state-sanctioned soiree.

10) ??? - Joseph Stalin Theme
LinkThat moment when the Trotskyists enter the House of Representatives, but the Stalinists brought icepicks.

11) Dschinghis Khan - Moskau
LinkYou ask your German Taxi driver where he's from and he breaks into song-and-dance.

12) Gloc-9 - Upuan (Throne)
LinkAn avant-garde rap song reminiscent of the system of corruption the Americans had created during their occupation of the Philippines, which still exists IRL.

13) Apl de Ap & Jamir Garcia - El Presidente
LinkHistory is overdramatically taught in one's formative years, and that education is usually Filipino-centric.

14) Gloc-9 feat. Lirah Bermudez - Ilustrado
LinkSubsequently, the atrocities committed by the Western aggressors are spared no crumb of shame and criticism.

15) "Hanggang Wala Nang Bukas" - Ebe Dancel
LinkThen again, the First Philippine Republic was pretty badass. Puñeta!

16) Vozdushno-Desantnye Voyska Recruitment Music Video
LinkYou can almost feel the pure fury and manliness of Comintern Airborne personnel in this recruitment video.

17) War Thunder - "Victory is Ours" Live Action Trailer
LinkI felt a little obligated to put this here. Imagine that the Germans in the video are Weimar Republic Germans, and the battlefield is Berlin.

18) AggroKnuckle - Stand & Fight
LinkAfter watching Tracks 12-17, watch this. Can you picture the Third Pacific War now? Can you feel it in your bones? The bitterness? The nationalism?

19) Jackie Chan - Yōu Cài Huā
LinkI think this is good motif for PWIII or any PAS conflict really, despite originally being one for a feudal-China movie.

A big road passes through my house
My family lives under the Liang mountain
Under the mountain, the soil is fertilized on five acres of land
What should I grow on five acres of land?

Who will remember my appearance?
Who will remember the wounds I have suffered?
Whose desire is this? Whose battlefield is this?
That has made us turn our backs on what is good?

When can I return to my homeland?
When can I look at her red make-up?
Even if I used a sword to blind me...
...it would not blind me from my homesickness

A big river passes through my house
I have a wife, a son, and my house is big
The chickens are fat, gooses are fat, cows and goats are strong
Plant beans, plant paddies, canola flowers.

A big road passes through my house
My family lives under the Liang mountain
Under the mountain, the soil is fertilized on five acres of land
Five-acre farmland of canola flowers

20) Jackie Chan ft. Di Ma Xi - Kong Fu Yoga
LinkAnother Jackie Chan song. We don't have gopniks in Pan-Asia, but we do have Chinaweebs and ultra-superstitious New-Age Bengali shamans.

21) Defend the Headquarters of Revolution (誓死保卫革命首脑部)
LinkMy original War Theme, now stored here for posterity. Imagine a thousand Communist soldiers dragging a hundred landlords to the village plaza for systematic execution.

22) Listen! Workers of the World (听吧! 万国的劳动者)
LinkMarching Song of the Japanese Anti-Fa, who now bide their time desecrating revisionist war memorials.

23) If War Breaks Out Today (假如战争今天爆发)
LinkKeep an eye out walking down the cityscape of Asia as an American during the night, most Asians believe that the U.S has infiltrated most Communist nations via espionage. Don't do anything suspicious.

24) When That Day Comes
LinkThe "Red Scare" cuts both ways. Most Asians are paranoid that the U.S will try to wage a "War of Liberation" on Asia, and thus, are ready to defend Communism to their last dying breath.

25) (Performed By) Ely Buendia - Anak ng Bayan
LinkAnother way of presenting Asia's history, minus the bravado: cool, calm, sweet guitaring by a scout on night-shift, watching out for Japanese colonialists hunting down his troop in the jungle.

26) XCOM 2 OST: ADVENT Combat Extended 2
LinkIsraeli Fighters! Two clicks from here!

27) Eternal Glory to the Allied Veterans of the Pacific Theatre
LinkKMT Song but still, Anti-Jap propaganda

More to come, stay tuned!
