Military - East African Defense Forces

East African Federation

The East African Defense Forces are the standing military forces of the East African Federation. The Defense Forces consist of four branches- the East African Ground Forces, the East African Navy, the East African Air Forces, and the East African Border Defense Forces. Alongside the three branches of the Defense Forces, both the Ground Forces and the Navy operate sub-units within the branches, primarily the Ground Forces' Special Warfare Military Operations Unit, East African Rangers, and Special Operations and Observation Groups, and the Navy's East African Naval Marine Force. The President of the Congress serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the East African Defense Forces and dictates military policy with the advice of the East African Supreme Command and the East African Ministry of Defense.
