NAME OF UNIVERSITY
"The greatest honor one could ever have is being themselves as there is only one of them and that is extremely rare."
— Lightian High Arch-Emperor Blue
Blue is a very kind-hearted man. Despite his tough past, he has managed to change existence many times over and over again. He is known for his brutality during his period of killing, but can be very nice and loving when someone finds his nice spot.
Born on the 18th day of the 8th month on the 1623th year since the start of the anno domini on calendar, Blue was raised up in a tiny home in Wafflon, Dictatorship of Evilia, now modern-day Berlin, Republic of Germany. The Dictatorship of Evilia was considered very advance during at its peak of land area in the 1600s, with estimated 1/1300 of the technology level of Bluelight(-R006). At a young age, Blue was considered gifted due to his intellectual intelligence. However, he was forced to working as a slave for the Emperor of Evilia, to develop an immortality pill.
In 1628, at the age of 5, Blue managed to come up with an immortality substance by mixing some elements of the periodic table unknown to the world back then. However, it was kept as a sworn secret between Blue and his scientist partners, who vowed to drink the immortality substance. This secret, however, was exposed when one of the scientists was forced to reveal before Evilia Government officials attempted to execute him.
At the same time, Blue had started a protest against the dictator of Evilia, which at one point, his family and himself was sent to jail for hard labour before being sentenced to execution in circa. 1629.
However, it was only in 1630 when Blue manages to find materials to make a ladder tall enough to scale the walls of the prison. According to a private interview, Blue himself said that other prisoners and himself who escaped had to jump to the ground from 7 metres up.
Despite the possibility of being sent back to the prison, the family of Blue decided to stay in their old home as they had nowhere else to go. However, in the fall of 1631, Blue decided to go back into his laboratory and steal all the immortality potion, which he later gave to his parents. While doing this, he triggered an alarm which forced Blue and his family to escape beyond the borders of Evilia.
With great help to the immortality pill, Blue and his family did not need to find food to survive, nor did they need to drink. In the spring of 1633, they managed to reach modern-day Denmark, and sail to Great Britain, where Blue and his family lived.
In 1651, Blue met the love of his lifetime on a bridge. Courchevelia, who at that time was only 23 years old, was, according to rumours, coming back from a murder she committed. This is not proven, however, but was believed to be made up due to her tyrant-like behaviour.
According to Blue, the two were happily engaged for two years before escaping with a few men to Nova Scotia, Canada, to escape from Oliver Cromwell’s rule on England, which according to them, felt boring and treacherous as well as severely obnoxious.
It was only in April 1653 that the ship had reached Nova Scotia. With materials from the ship and an abundance of trees around, a new settlement was built. Name after the light of Blue, Bluelight was born.
Blue was married to his true love on October 16, 1655.
Reluctant at first, Blue did not want to become the leader of the newfound nation, due to the fact that he thought he would be better off looking after his parents. Sabre S. Tundre was chosen by the citizens as the president of Bluelight. But after harsh rule and dictatorship, which many felt extremely ‘obnoxious’ and very ‘Cromwell-ish,’ he was banished into the forests, and Blue agreed to become the President.
Because he was not a fan of Government, especially after the example of Cromwell’s Republic of England, Blue decided to become a monarch and abolish government on January 14, 1655. This made Bluelight not only a kingdom, but a benevolent dictatorship. Blue did not believe in tyranny, after the example of his hometown nation, Evilia.
Because it was not officially recognised as a country, Blue approached the King of France in the summer of 1660, hoping he would get recognition. Instead, he was, claimed, ‘kicked out of the palace with canes of wood.’
Currently, Blue is not affiliated with any political party nor is a fan of any type of government as he thinks Benevolent Dictatorship is true leadership.
Since his reign in 1655, Blue has enacted many policies, all of which, increasing the civil rights of the nation. Because of his love for civil rights, Blue tries to enact as many policies that will increase the civil rights, at the same time, trying to put a boundary to how far one may go.
Because of this, Bluelight has been considered, “The Real Free America” or, “The New World.” Many of his citizen’s favour him as leader, with a survey among approximately 80% of the population responding with a 100% favour rate.
Some may even say that the sharp increase and tremendous amount of civil rights is the reason of the extremely acute angle of increase from the mid-1600s to the mid-1900s.
Some of the most famous policies include...
Although he does not support it, Blue is not against it. He is neutral about the situation, but believes that if people would want to be happy, then they should be able to make their own choice without any Government interference. Thus, in the 1680s, the policy was enacted.
Like the gay policy, Blue believes that people should be able to marry people of their own gender, as they must choose what their mate must be in life.
Blue once said, “If it means for people to say who you can marry and who you can’t, then what’s marriage choices worth for?” Thus, the policy was enacted in 1683.
One of the most shocking policies that one has ever enacted, Murder. Blue states that one cannot murder an innocent one, but is given the rights to murder or simply make a guilty one suffer. This resulted in the high amount of Lightian citizens having weapons of their own. The policy was only enacted in 1800.
Despite the fact that many married ones hate the idea of polygamy, Blue has always believed that his citizens, especially men, have the choice of choosing which is pretty and to marry, possibly even having sexual intercourse, which is sometimes adultery. This may be called cheating.
