Elections in Wileyshire: The Results [Radio Transcript]

Goooooood morning to the DSA! This is 102.3 FM, One of Leigh City's best news sources! Quinn O'Sulliven here to discuss what exactly has unfolded across the land now that the elections have finally come to a close! It has been a long season of men and women voting for union officials and those same union officials voting for our Syndicate Chairmen and Presidents. This is of course a quick run down of our nation's largest syndicates and the expected inter-Syndicate policy with the rest of the world.

To begin, the U.N.D. or the Union of National Defense's Bobby Teller has once again secured his position as Syndicate-Chair of the D.S.W, that is the Defense Syndicate of Wileyshire. They are expected to continue their expansive militarization-for-defense policy. Though even our own population has found their research into controversial fields such as toxins and nuclear weapons unnerving, Teller won easily still.

Moving to the Service Syndicate of Wileyshire's election for President, the East Wileyshire Grocer Union Local 317's Dawn Raddler sure raddled the polls, coming in with a upset, taking the seat from the incumbent Damian macRyan. Raddler quickly rose in popularity as macRyan's money handling became questionable, promising to investigate and bring justice to any wrong doing that may have happened. Raddler seems to be focused on anti-corruption politics and time will tell how she takes hold on issues both foreign and domestic.

The Industrial Worker's Syndicate of Wileyshire elected Jack Ross, President of the East Wileyshire Coal Miner's Union for their vacant Syndicate-Chair position. He led a scrappy path down election road against both Adrian Eiffen of the Copper Worker's of Wileyshire as well as Jackie Neuiw of the Wileyshire Cast and Die Workers. He is expected to expand mining to help meet the demand of the rest of the nation's industry and to further expand exports. Additionally he has expressed an interest to expand green energy and policy, assisting in cleaning up the nation ecologically.

The Agricultural Syndicate of Wileyshire elected Sylvia Ghoff of the United Fishermen of Wileyshire as their new Syndicate-Chair. Similar to Ross of the Industrial Syndicate, she is expected to ramp up exports and has been vocal about foreign aid, planning to increase food production 200% to meet these goals.

The last election of the Big 5 chronologically, the Intellectual Worker's of Wileyshire, has elected Brandon Hoths as their Prime Minister. He has said that he plans to work heavily with both the industrial and agricultural workers to achieve their goals and has complimented Raddler of the Service Syndicate as 'honorable', but has stayed silent through the election regarding the Defense Syndicate.

Overall, most individuals expect to see a new and revamped Wileyshire, ready to partake in international politics and not be shy in doing so. Many of the top ministers have expressed interest in leading the charge across the DSA and encouraging international cooperation for the good of all.

This is Quinn O'Sullivan signing off. Have a great night everybody!
