A NationStates Autobiography: Astrocand

I founded Astrocand in April of 2016. NationStates quickly fed my imagination, creativity, knowledge, and activism all at once. Naturally I tried to get a few of my friends to play. Baphoman and Lucivan were two of the few to accompany me here. We joined the Illuminati region and started to play a hand in their regional politics. I joined on the invitation of turning the small region I founded into an "Order" (Illuminati equivalent of a political party). Baphoman and Lucivan took a seat on the Round Table, with Baphoman joining the Templar Order. Eventually life began to take precedence over the game and Baphoman, Lucivan and I had to return to work and school.

And in July of 2018, I returned. This time I founded the nation of Aquariiata. This nation embodied what I learned and how I changed on my two year absence. It represents personal freedom, uniqueness, and revolution. Aquariatta is the nation I want to see become real, as I work to advocate a lot of its "policies" (psychedelics, sustainable living, tiny homes). I also refounded Astrocand and Thfgahna, a nation I created to explore a Lovecraftian theme.

Soon after, Baphoman rejoined, seeing a NS related post from me in our large group chat. Kaia joined us as originals with Lucivan joining soon after. Together we plan to structure a region of our own and use it to personally grow and have fun. Starlight Isles is the beginning of a legacy of our own.
