Gunersland, while unable to feed it's own populace, decided in it's parliament to claim large swarths of land to it's south west. The newly created governance sparked outrage in Heck mcgurk, where they decided to go against this decision, sending troops to their border and diplomats to the parliament. The diplomats soon decided that if Gunersland was to claim land, they would do so as well. It's unknown why the next happened, but the government of Heck mcgurk openly claimed to have armed the savages living in the wastelands, and that they had paid them off to attack Gunersland.
Ultimately, the threats of war petered out but the two remain opposed to each other. Harmile remains neutral in the war, not supporting either side.
