Overview

The Republic of Europa joined the Supranational Union on 2 January 2026, and operates under a socialist-oriented market economy led by President Charlotte S. Heidenreich.

Charlotte S. Heidenreich is the President of the Republic of Europa. Since her election she has instigated political and economic reform by combating neo-nazism, hardline socialists, and bourgeois liberals. Apart of her policies against neo-nazism has been the establishment of the "Protect the People Principle" and the "People's Democratic Association", which have attempted to purge reactionary ideology from Europan society and in 2061, the government effectively banned individuals from advocating for such ideas while also making it mandatory for students to teach the atrocities of every action committed in the name of Nazism.

Policies

• Protect the People Principle
  A political strategy by Heidenreich designed to combat neo-nazism, as well as neo-nazi terrorism, and for the protection of Europan families within society. Since September 2061, the government officially banned nazism and classified the promotion of nazism as "treason warranting of the death penalty".

• Europan Socialism
  A political doctrine defined as establishing socialism through Europan cultural characteristics and national identity. It often promotes Europan social nationalism, globalization, and the unification of the people against incorrect ideas such as "national socialism".

• Socialist-Oriented Market Economy
  An economy designed on the basis of a multi-sectoral economy driven by state ownership, cooperatives, and private enterprise. Under Heidenreich, Europa has expanded market reforms, opened up the economy, and liberalized non-essential industries. However, she has received backlash from more hardline socialists who have historically been opposed to market reforms and liberalization.

• Relations with Israel
  Heidenreich has supported an promoted maintaining relations with the Israeli government for its progressive nature. She has commonly praised the Israelis for their defense of human rights and opposition to reactionary elements within their society.

• Islam (and other religions)
  In Europa, Islam is treated almost simultaneously with nazism and often times followers of the religion have been sent to re-education facilities if they commit any criminal offence. Policies of Europa have been compared to those of Arabia for their anti-islamic, and anti-religious, rhetoric.

• Relations with Spain
  Europan and Spanish relations have been crippled since Heidenreich's election as the President in 2054. This is mostly in part due to her staunch opposition to fascism within the region. Due to the negative relations between the two countries, the relations between Europa and the rest of western Europe has been nonexistent and tense.
