Charter for the Ministry of Technology

Regional Law 2 on the Creation of a Ministry of Technology - Ministerial Charter for the Ministry of Technology

Article 1: Ministerial Functions and Duties

1. A Regional Ministry of Technology shall be hereby created, under the procedures of Regional Law 1, to serve as the region's primary authority over external (non-NS) communications platforms.
2. The Ministry of Technology shall be charged with the day to day operations and maintenance of the Region's external (non-NS) communications platforms. These include the Regional Forum, Regional Discord server, and any other external (non-NS) communications platform the Minister of Technology deems worthy of the Region's attention and patronage.
3. The Minister of Technology may employ subordinate staff to assist in the operations and maintenance of the Region's External (non-NS) communications platforms. The Minister of Technology does not require the immediate approval of any other body to appoint staff, or to dismiss them. Should the RS or any RC member object to a Technology Ministry staff member's conduct, they may trigger a vote in the RC to force the dismissal of the staff member in question. To succeed, a vote on dismissing a staff member requires a simple majority of the RC.
4. The Ministry of Technology is tasked with keeping Member Nations informed about the existence of external communications platforms, and is further tasked with encouraging their use by Member Nations.

Article 2: Ministerial Regional Officer Permissions

1. The Minister of Technology shall be granted the following RO powers;
