The Isles of Zanforadon
The isles of Zanforadon are lush with wildlife and natural beauty, as well as numerous. There are 14 major islands, 280 satellite islands, and 23 port cities at various areas. The 14 major islands, in terms of area, range between 300,922 kmē (116,186.6 sq mi) and 1,473,988 kmē (569,109.9 sq mi), while the satellite islands range between 2,355 kmē (909.2706 sq mi) and 100,323 kmē (38,734.93 sq mi), and the 23 port cities roughly range between 2,490 kmē (961.3944 sq mi) and 21,755 kmē (8,399.652 sq mi).The largest of the major islands is called Zanfora, known as being the cultural center of the Zanfa people, ranges at 1,472,900 kmē (568,689.9 sq mi), and is where the capital of the country, Zankatorna is. The Triplets of Fertility are known for being the breadbaskets of the country as well as being plentiful in nature preserves. The three islands were once considered as one island called Xensis before a violent eruption occurred. As collectively the second largest islands, Xenostrata, Xennunis, and Xengetsu ranges at 1,197,825 kmē (462,482.8 sq mi). The third largest island, known as E-gentra, was named as such due to the tallest mountain in the country, E-gentrasa, is here and has a height of 4,792 meters (15,721.78 feet), while the island itself ranges at 1,002,984 kmē (387,254.3 sq mi).
The Three Heavenly Ring Islands were named as such due to the unique ring structures found on the islands. Said rings can have a diameter of 29.26~ meters (96 feet) and appear to be built by a precursor civilization before the Zanfa colonized the three islands around 457 BC. The rings also appear to be metallic in nature as well as having a control panel of sorts. As for the islands, Ruruok, Puluok, and Daudok collectively ranges at 920,888 kmē (355,556.8 sq mi), making them the fourth largest islands. The island of Shurani is home to the Vedusa people, a sapient tree species that is humanoid in body design, and the Fernunnos people, a fern species that also gain sapience and adapted to a body type similar to the horse. The island itself has been measured at 899,727 kmē (347,386.5 sq mi), making it the fifth largest island.
Zankara is known to be the homeland of the sister culture of the Zanfa, known as the Zanari, where they follow a matrilineal society, whereas the Zanfa a bilateral society. The Zanari women in particular are known for having a higher libido than their male counterparts. Their homeland has been measured to be 821,779 kmē (317,290.6 sq mi), making it the country's sixth largest island. Zanshara and Minados are known as The Twins of Vitality due to species found on the two islands are incredibly durable, such as the Great Thunderous Earth Dragon, otherwise known as the Magna Tonantis Terra Draconis, and its sister species, the Great Heavenly Lightning Dragon, aka the Magna Caelestis Noctis Draconis. Zanshara is also one of the islands colonized by the Sharfana people while Minados is home to the Minakari people. The Twins of Vitality collectively measure at 797,892 kmē (308,067.8 sq mi), making them the seventh largest.
The eighth largest island is known as Shar'kohtra, the second island to be colonized by the Sharfana and the location of the largest diaspora of Koh'oh, a giant sapient species that resembles a humanoid elephant. The island itself has been measured at 735,889 kmē (284,128.3 sq mi). The smallest of the major islands, Spugrerero, measures at 682,719 kmē (263,599.3 sq mi), and is where the nations extensive space center is, as this is where many of the country's scientific advancements have come to realization, such as creating the first NLS (near light-speed) engine that can reach 99.9987% the speed of light, allowing the people of Zanforadon to reach the Genos star system in a year.
Zanforadon's National Space and Dimensional Travel Agency, abbreviated to N.S.D.T.A., has also looked into the gates on the Three Heavenly Ring Islands, and discovered that many of the gates lead to different worlds, many of which are habitable for all the different people groups in the country. For the satellite islands, the majority of them (260 of them) measure at 4,921 kmē (1,900 sq mi), another 13 measuring at a measly 2,380 kmē (918.9~ sq mi), and the remaining 7 measuring at 10,291 kmē (3,973.377 sq mi). For the port cities, we are still waiting on reports from each cities mayor to come in. In total, the country of Zanforadon measures at 10,614,678 kmē (4,098,350.1 sq mi), making it the second largest country in land area in the world.
