a. This constitution hereby establishes a unicameral legislature.
b. All representatives must be over the age of 30.
c. Should vacancies occur, an election must be held within 90 days.
d. Terms are to last 3 years, and representatives are limited to 3 terms.
I. All citizens are guaranteed freedom of religion, speech, thought, press, and assembly. Infringement of these rights by the government is strictly prohibited.
II. No citizen shall be discriminated against on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, disability, income, background, religion, identity, or other factors.
III. All citizens are guaranteed the right to bear arms.
a. This right is forfeited by persons guilty of a federal offense.
b. Citizens have the right to self-defense.
IV. All citizens are guaranteed equal treatment under the law.
a. Citizens have the right to a fair trial.
b. Citizens have the right to a public defender should they be unable to cover the expense of a lawyer.
c. No citizen shall have to face cruel and unusual punishment.
V. Workers are guaranteed the right to form labor unions.
a. The government is not permitted to interfere with said unions unless they are suspected of illegal activity.
