Vykrotia

Vykrotia ( Linklisten), officially the Vykrotian Federation, is a nation in eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia, Hungary, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, and the Czech Republic. Vykrotia covers a total of 361.714 square kilometers and has has an estimated population of 49,708,671. Vykrotia comprises of 10 states known as Districts, which also includes Capital District: Nerous.

Having its roots dating back to the middle of the 19th century in the Second German Empire, Vykrotia was originally founded as a separatist region in the eastern German Empire known as Vikros. The Vikros people strongly supported the creation of a new nation separate from the German Empire and, at first, often attempted to overthrow the king and the Empire. The king however, was tolerable with the new region and seldom punished the people. As time went on, the Vikros region began creating its own politics, principles, flags, and ideologies. Up until the first World War, the Vikros region was deemed "unimportant" and "useless" to the Empire. It was until the start War that the German Empire began the militarization of the Vikros region along with the Eastern Front.

Etymology

The name Vykrotia is a modern take on the original name of the then region: the Vikros. The name Vikros is said to derive from an ancient Roman or Greek military leader who demonstrated great strength, power, and order among and to his people.

In Traditional Vikros, the name Vykrotia would be pronounced as Vi-krots-kra and would be spelled as VKПOTCΛ.
