When Deep Antartica was first founded after an expedition into the Antartic, The President at the time, Generic Anime Woman 945720, was not pleased. The original purpose of the expedition was to claim land for the United States of Weebs to expand into, not to claim it as their own and start a new country! However, after further thought, she had a great idea to counter the rising tax rates of the nation.
From that day forth, Deep Antartica became USoW's colony, and was made to pay tribute in order to keep USoW running as the utopia it was.

They never asked how they got the money, though...
