'Leader' Title: Prince-Archbishop
'Leader' Method Of Address: His Grace (Alt: His Excellency)
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Principality'
Notes: The title 'Prince-Primate' or 'Prince of the Church' may alternatively be used. One of the more ideal choices for a Dominant Oppressorian puppet-state, attempt this when situation deemed adequate. A good balance between a secular and ecclesiastical leader for a puppet-state, although always be cautions as clergy may not be convinced to be puppet-leaders. Usually an elected Monarch. Usually a theocracy, good for when a strong and influential Catholic / Christian presence is needed from government-down.

Prince-Bishopric

Notes: Similar to 'Prince-Archbishopric' except the Archbishop remains purely ecclesiastical and the nation is generally a full theocracy in both sense of the word (governed by religious principals and by a member of the Clergy), otherwise see 'Prince-Archbishopric' [also not an elected monarch as is ex officio with the Papal-appointed Archbishop of the diocese].

Bishopric

'Leader' Title: Bishop
'Leader' Method Of Address: His Excellency
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Diocese'

Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Imperial Free City' [if 'relationship' with our Holy Christian Empire is more clear and/or public]
Notes: A puppet-state (or any similar state) that is no bigger than the size of a single city. May be run by any noble and/or ecclesiastical person/position.

Governorate

'Leader' Title: Governor
'Leader' Method Of Address: His / Her Excellency
Notes: To be used when it is full public knowledge that it is a puppet-state but you still want a puppet leader to give it slightly more partial autonomy. The position of 'Governor' may be used for colonies and other such more direct Royal Imperial Territories and it is important not to confuse this with that. The titles 'Governor-General', 'Lieutenant-Governor' or 'Civil-Governor' may also be adopted depending on the circumstances. It is advised to avoid this for puppet-states and other states of this specific type.

Viceroyalty

'Leader' Title: Viceroy / Vicereine

Most Serene Republic

'Leader' Title: Doge
'Leader' Method Of Address: His / Her Serene Highness (Alt: His / Her Most Serene Highness)
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Crowned Republic'
Notes: If one must make their puppet-state a 'democracy', this is one of the most convenient as leaders are elected for life, which means less effort to rig elections and to find 'eligible candidates for leadership'.

Consulate

'Leader' Title: Consul
'Leader' Method Of Address: His / Her Excellency
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Republic'
[u]Notes:
One of the better 'democratic' forms for when it must be chosen due to the long terms and high levels of power given to the consul. A major downside is that there are usually multiple consuls with varying degrees of power between them (possibly equal power), this may potentially bypassed with some initially effort. Consul may potentially be styled as 'Chief Magistrate' or 'Consul General' instead. Consider it with a similar degree of interest to 'Most Serene Republic'.

Dictatorship

'Leader' Title: Dictator
'Leader' Method Of Address: Dear Leader (Alt: Glorious Leader)
Notes: May also take on any random nickname or title they give themselves. Dictators are typically too egotistical to be effective and trustworthy puppet-leaders for our government. And, seriously, a little-bit on the nose, don't you think? Try to be more creative.

Socialist Republic

'Leader' Title: Premier
'Leader' Method Of Address: Comrade Supreme Leader (Alt: Glorious Leader OR Dear Leader)
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'People's Republic', 'Democratic Republic', 'People's Democratic Republic', 'Soviet Socialist Republic'
Notes: Leader may also take on the title 'Supreme Leader' or 'Chairman' if deemed fit. Similar advantages to 'Most Serene Republic' but similar disadvantages to 'Dictatorship'. Must be a Socialist state, usually some brand of Communist as well. Use sparingly.

Parliamentary Republic

'Leader' Title: Prime Minister
'Leader' Method Of Address: His Right Honourable Sir / Her Right Honourable Madam
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Republic', 'Federal Republic'
[u]Notes:
'Leader' may also be titled as 'Premier', 'Chancellor', 'Supreme Leader' or another similar title. 'Democratic' puppet states are harder to maintain for a variety of reasons, establish one only when you must. A Constitutional Monarchy of some form is also a consideration but one to avoid when possible for similar reasons.

Presidential Republic

'Leader' Title: President
'Leader' Method Of Address: Mr. / Madam President
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Republic', 'Federal Republic', 'Confederacy', 'Confederation', 'Confederated Republic'
Notes: Similar to the above.

Directory

'Leader' Title: Director
'Leader' Method Of Address: Mr. / Madam Director
Alt. Government Type Name(s): 'Republic', 'Directorate'
Notes: All the disadvantages of a standard Republic but with several people in the top-level of power rather than a single individual, potentially by-passed but not worth the effort, avoid unless absolutely necessary.
