The Armed Republic of Tserinekol is a huge, safe nation, notable for its ubiquitous missile silos, pith helmet sales, and compulsory vegetarianism. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 556 million Tserinekolians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Administration. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 80.7%.

The powerhouse Tserinekoli economy, worth 81.9 trillion kopecks a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched, fairly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, Uranium Mining, and Woodchip Exports. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 147,331 kopecks, with the richest citizens earning 7.0 times as much as the poorest.

Tserinekol is increasingly belligerent on the international stage, residential tower blocks are surrounded by warrens of concrete tunnels, requests to "pass the salt" are supported by tank divisions, and it is often said that only Leader could bring down Dàguó. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tserinekol's national animal is the red eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution.

Tserinekol is ranked 14,523rd in the world and 13th in Eientei Gensokyo for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 5,355.14 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
