The Kingdom of Tomert is a massive, safe nation, ruled by King Albert III with a fair hand, and remarkable for its compulsory military service, state-planned economy, and devotion to social welfare. The compassionate, democratic, devout population of 3.167 billion Tomertians love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized, socially-minded, outspoken government prioritizes Welfare, with Spirituality, Defense, and Healthcare also on the agenda. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Muxross. The average income tax rate is 41.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but inefficient Tomertian economy, worth 148 trillion rubles a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is broadly diversified, is led by the Pizza Delivery industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, and Uranium Mining. Average income is 47,006 rubles, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The government is allowing greater autonomy for some regions in the hopes of quelling growing secessionist movements, toy versions of heroin paraphernalia let kids pretend to be their favourite TV characters, programmers often reinvent the wheel, and all the world's a stage for Tomertian political theatrics. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Tomert's national animal is the parrot and its national religion is Farthism.

Tomert is ranked 214,511th in the world and 293rd in Oneid for Most Secular, with 12.56 Atheism Rate.
