The Democratic Supercracy of The South Falls, commonly referred to as The South Falls or TSF, is a direct democracy based Republic in Central-Southeastern Anea. It is bordered on the West by The Socialist Federation of Misthas and bordered on the Southwest and West by The Tsarinadom of Modern Russian Empire It is also bordered by lake Voazz in the Southwest. The South Falls covers over 161,000 square miles and have an estimated population of 421 million. The South Falls is a Federation of Provinces, with 16 provinces.

The South Falls was first inhabited in 2800BC under the Falls' indigenous Gorbat people. It was conquered by the Falls and then won its independence in late 2000 after the conclusion of the Fallsian Civil War, which lasted 31 years and killed about 3.1 million people and displaced 8.8 million. The South Falls built infrastructure quickly, grew the economy at high speed, and managed to become a continental power, as a home to not only the Information Tech industry but also the Military Goods Manufacturing Industry, and emerged as an economic power.

The South Falls is a developed country with a GDP of about S/28.1 Trillion. The per capita GDP of about S/83,359 is one of the highest in The North Pacific, and the nation ranks high in income equality, effectively being a Capitalist Social Democracy. The economy is fueled by manufacturing and people, and the forests providing some natural resources for growth. There is a 1/10 socialist, 9/10s capitalist economy, with a heavy amount of government subsidization that lets businesses thrive. The South Falls ranks high in civil rights and political freedom, though quite low in economic freedom. It is a member of multiple alliances and organizations, including The North Pacific, Hotel Lala and the Anean Military Cooperative.

History

The South Falls was founded in 2000, after independence from the North Falls. The North Falls is a country that was founded in 2700BC. They have transitioned between 6 styles of government, including democracy, dictatorship, and even Constitutional Monarchy.

Metterschav III- August 8, 1895- November 22, 1895 (The end of the monarchy and beginning of democracy)

The Beginning and Locor I-III
The Fallsian Monarchy began on May 2, 1587 with the ascension of Locor I. He ruled for 25 years, and the monarchy blossomed under his reign. Locor I's first act, on June 17, 1587, was to divide the South Falls into provinces, under regional leaders that were named 'Kotam'. The first Kotam of The South Falls was Chiderin Zamikala, who was Kotam from June 17, 1587, until February 13, 1600, when he was assassinated. The Kotam was the military leader of The South Falls, and as such, Zamikala conquered territory across west of where the South Falls is today, pushing into what is now the Modern Russian Empire, and even a piece of South Misthas. These gains were taken in the First Misthas-South Falls War. These gains happened in 1590, and made Zamikala popular with the nobility. However, he was extremely unpopular with the people, and in the 10 years between 1590 and 1600, he forced conscription, raised taxes, and banned fishing in Royal Waters, which was a livelihood of thousands across The South Falls. He was assassinated by bandits sent by John Emelsby, Third Count Emelsby, outside of his Villa. Emelsby played his cards and became the second Kotam on May 3, 1600. He was Kotam until 1612, when he was taken out by Locor II for corruption. The South Falls became the largest province from August 15, 1613, when the province of Salukia was incorporated inside of The South Falls for protection. It was also the biggest provider of people in high positions in the North Fallsian Court.

Locor II was not like his father, Locor I, which was a strong leader, who was not easily bullied by the nobility. Locor II was pushed around by most everyone he met in his 22-year reign, and had the hard-fought territory gained under Locor I sold away for meager prices, starting with the Misthasian Loop, which was sold for S/160,000 (2035 S/11.9 Billion), which was a tiny amount for such a hard fought piece of territory, with entrances to all the major rivers that made commerce move through the South Falls into the sea. The Fourth Count Tazcuria, Zin Tazcuria, was the Kotam of The South Falls, and the main adviser to the King, and when it came to certain decisions, often more powerful than the King. Throughout Locor's reign, all territory won in the First Misthas-South Falls war was sold away for a total price of S/10.1 Million (2018 S/333 Billion). It was not too much money at all. The Fourth Count managed to also lower taxes, to a point where in 1633, the treasury was in debt to the tune of S/8.3 Million.

Locor III was a ruler who was an embarrasment. He was an embarrassment to the government, to others, and everyone. He took the throne at the age of 18 in 1635, and lowered taxes, spent extravagant amounts of money, and made enemies of all nobles. He began in 1636 by selling off the last of the gains of the war, and spent even more while keeping taxes at close to 0%. The treasury ran out of money in January 1640, and then managed to sell more territory for cash. It angered the nobles, and over the four years, they plotted to remove him. He did nothing after January 1641, and he was assassinated on June 27, 1644, which was covered up by saying he died after a "long illness." Each of the previous kings had one heir each, and this king was no diferent.

Metterschav I the Great, the Pax Fallkera, and Locor IV
The South Falls again blossomed from ruin when under Metterschav the Great. Comparable to France under Louis XIV, the South Falls grew to a massive, almost swelled size while under his rule. Metterschav first cleaned out the government that was under Locor III of the many corrupt officials that had piled up since 1635. Six of those who had plotted against Locor III was executed, even though they had brought Metterschav to power. This established a 'Law-and-Order' veneer in his kingship that persisted, even when he flouted the rules in his later years.

The winter of 1646-47 saw a lightning campaign to take back the Misthasian loop that had been sold off under Locor II, and it was taken on January 13, 1647. This was the last time it would have to be taken, and is still part of The South Falls. The return party back to Tozedo, which was the capital of the North Falls, made Metterschav the Great extremely popular with his people.

He then spent the next twenty years keeping taxes steady and spending normally. He acted like an autocrat, executing all even remotely connected to those who plotted against him in that time. He was not tainted by the inbreeding that tainted later generations, so he looked together and ready. By 1668, the money was out. He wanted to fight a war against the Misthasians, but Parliament wanted him to name an heir, as he had no children, and he'd put it off, finding all those related to him unsuitable.

He went to the newly founded Modern Russian Empire, and asked for S/ 1.01 Billion, the largest loan ever taken out by anyone inside of the Falls. This allowed him to rule without Parliament for the rest of his tenure. He kept the Pax Fallkera, as the period between 1647-1670 was called, going strong, until he was attacked by the Russians, after defaulting on his loan, and expressing he would never pay it back. They'd almost bankrupted their treasury for him, and wanted the money. The Fallsian-Russian War lasted until the end of his reign in 1681, with fights in both countries taking huge amounts of money, materials, and land from both sides. When Metterschav the Great died, he finally named an heir. His name was Thomas Cotumia Shaktuka-Vivami, and he was twenty-four years old when he ascended to the North Fallsian throne in August 1681.

He was insane, to put it lightly. He had fits of madness. He tore the sheets from the palace walls, kicked the doors open, shot people he didn't like, and swallowed random things, that often cost a fortune. In December 1681, he pushed the nobility over the line, by shooting the then Komat of Vitliz, Kori Sasuma Fitan, and killing him. They plotted against Locor IV like they did the previous Locor, and finally assassinated him on Christmas Day, 1683. They wanted to postpone it, but they were driven on by Ormak Zaha, the father of the next-in-line to the throne, to hasten his chances of becoming king.

Locor V
The next-in-line, Locor V, was a four-year old boy, nephew of Locor IV. People thought that he would be growing insane, but actually was one of the most stable kings the South Falls ever had. Ormak Zaha was married to Locor IV's wife, and managed to become king regent, which meant he was king. Ormak Zaha began his corruption schemes on January 1, 1686, managing to bribe the sixteen counts of Tozedo to loan him S/125 Million, to expand his personal money empire. He also imprisoned the debtors that called him to pay his debts. Even though he had the money, he didn't want them to continue to hound him over the debt. He executed thirty of the Barons of Tozedo, for trying to 'overthrow him'. He stabbed the sixth Komat of The South Falls, in the heart. He continued his reign of terror, until he was over thrown by Edward Surrey, Sixteenth Duke Surrey on January 8, 1696. He was killed the next day, the day Locor turned 17, the North Fallsian age of majority, and Locor V ruled.

The South Falls finally took over, and made the organized state of The Falls, under the unifying force on December 1, 1697, by executing the dukes that were against the plan, and managing to unify them. The Falls expanded, with the Komat system over, after almost a centuries' worth of the Komats running the South Falls. He then managed to, after unifying the Falls, decree the building of infrastructure to make the Falls' roads, long unuseable, and notorious among Anea's kingdoms for being so, barely able to use. These roads had a new substance, named Horseshat, made from horse manure and bricks, spread across it, to make it horse-moveable. While it was stinking, it made the roads finally useable, and made road-trade into The Falls blossom. It, slowly, became a useable road, the last road being horse-paved in 1718.

Locor V was religously tolerant, like the kings before him, letting any number of religions prosper, with different churches for different nations, and religious people practice. This also brought trade, because people settled to practice, and eventually began paying taxes and boosting the economy. Locor V also built many palaces, like the beautiful Neuzamaoai Palace, built where Fallsatia is today. It cost S/600 Billion. These massive palaces served as hosting areas for him and his massive entourage, at which point numbered up to 16,351 people, according to the Historian John Call Thirnian.

Locor V, with all of this, the paving of roads, the building of the palace, and the massive entourage, cost Locor V almost S/63.5 Billion per year. This was at a time when the revenues of The Falls were about S/17.0 Billion per year. There was no way that it was going to be sustained, and there was going to be no loans, like in Metterschav the Great's time, and so, he needed to raise money. He did this, promptly. He doubled the average tax rate, from 23.5% to 47%, and increased levies on occupied territory. This gave him the Ire of the people, and made him a target for assassinations. All of this, before 1720 dawned.

On February 17, 1721, Locor V fell ill with smallpox. This was during the Great Smallpox Epidemic of 1721, which lasted from January-October 1721. While he fell ill, the Falls fell into a standstill. Since he was the one who appropriated revenue, through his control of parliament, no one did anything in the time he was ill. Since he had not married up to that point, he had no wife to take control of the country, and regents took 18 months to be appointed, as per Fallsian Law. He was in a coma until April 3, 1721, and even then he had a diminished mental capacity, such that he didn't know what the word: 'life' meant.

This mental capacity remained diminished, until early June of 1721, in which he resumed leadership. He made a speech, titled: "I'm back!" On July 4, 1721. He tried to take the Falls out of the standstill, of which it had fallen into, by boosting spending, and trying to dispel rumors of collapse, with an expensive war. He had the Fallsian army push all the way to the North coast of the Ceres Ocean, where the Arctic met the Ceres. It cost almost S/1 Trillion, and put the Falls in debt, but quadrupled revenues with the taxes and trade that could be gotten. The Size of the South falls, in this war that ended in 1722, quintupled.

Locor V ruled peacefully, building palaces, while staying within the budget limits, until the end of his reign, where he named his nephew as his successor Quezina Soncata, who became Metterschav II on his ascension after 69 years, the longest rain of any Fallsian monarch, on February 29, 1769. That was the second reign that began with the Pax Fallkera II, from 1722-69.

Metterschav II and the Red Rebellion
Metterschav II, was bullied by the nobles in the first few months of his reign. He was forced to sell away 1/4th of the Falls' territory for S/1 Trillion, so that he could benefit the nobles' house construction. He was forced to vacate the New Palace, built by Locor V for monarchs, for the sole purpose that the 5th Duke Tirini, Gord Tirini, wanted to live in the house, and the fact that he took the reigns. On March 16, 1769, Metterschav II gave his title of Duke of Fallsatia, to the 5th Duke Tirini. Billions of dollars were embezzled under the nobility's control. The Falls fell into ruin, because taxes were neglected to be collected by the

The Red Rebellion was a rebellion against the crown that was plotted by the Fifth Duke Tirini, who knew that he effectively ruled the country, but he wanted the title and the riches that came from that. He also wanted the international recognition, and a new dynasty, that wasn't the Locorian Dynasty, to rule the South Falls. It was to be a kidnapping of Metterschav II, to dispose of him by 1771, after making him a figurehead for two years. That would be effectuated by bribing the army to steal the king from his quarters, and to put him in a cell in the New Palace. Another thing that would have to be done, would be to bribe his nephews to support the 5th Duke Tirini. It was set for June 6, 1768, but was postponed until the winter, when people would not be home to oppose him too much. It was called the Red Rebellion because of the Duke's coat of arms, which was a red shield.

The Red Rebellion came on December 3, 1768. Metterschav II was drinking tea, and then said, "Well, arrest me, if you like it so much." as the King's Own 46th Regiment burst through his door, guns pointed at him. They took Metterschav II, as per plan, on the 15th floor of the New Palace, to stay in his cell until 1771. Gord Tirini wasted no time in declaring himself Nagata I, after the First Duke Tirini, Nagata Tirini. He was the only king, whoever was not a member of the Royal Military Academy. The Rebellion executed many of the Fallsatia dukes, to make the pacification easier. Nagata I continued to try to enrich himself, his fortune breaking S/1.6 Trillion. Inflation spiraled out of control, and debt also spiraled out of control, as S/6.5 Trillion was the massive amount of debt that the government owed. The value of money fell out, and the countryside peasants languished, as no one had money to buy food, with the rising prices of food, when Nagata I forced the peasants to move to the city. In the six months, he tried to enrich himself, at the expense of the nobles, and the rest of the populace, which made him unpopular with everyone.

The nobles planned the Blue Rebellion, as a counter-rebellion to the Red Rebellion, to try to unseat Nagata I. It was planned for June 29, 1769, and would kidnap Metterschav II, put him back on the throne, and execute Nagata I. The plan worked. On June 29, 1769, an assassin killed Nagata I, at the age of 35, and took Metterschav II onto the throne, and re-coronated him on June 29, 1769. On July 1, 1769, he was re-coronated in an extremely hasty ceremony. Nagata I's descendants were killed. Metterschav II learned his lesson from being rebelled against and managed to become an Authoritarian, who executed all threats to him, to stop what was happening.

On May 5, 1771, the Chikizara Rebellion came about. This was of the descendant of the Last Komat of The South Falls, trying to become king, and thinking Metterschav II weak. Metterschav II came down hard, when the Rebellion began. It lasted for 3 days, and ended with Tiramus Chikizara being arrested for his crimes, and all members of the rebellion killed. Their families all had one eye gouged out, and their extended families had their legs broken, and so on, and so forth. Pretty soon, there were no more rebellions.
Metterschav II started a Golden Age of South Fallsian Art and Architecture. This culminated in the massive cathedral, the Sagia Sophia, which was a 941ft-tall cathedral, with many spires. It was finished in 1788. Music also flourished, with the composer Aolfgang Mamadeus Wozart writing 85 symphonies in the 19 years of Metterschav II, and becoming one of the greatest musicians that the Falls ever saw.

Taxes were raised about 5%, and people were mostly content, being able to work, make money, and upgrade their family's dwellings. On September 3, 1788, Metterschav II died of a stroke, naming his nephew, Orla Tivun Mischavto Kirizina Vittin, Duke of Fallsatia. Orla took the regnal name of Orla I, and was coronated on September 17, 1788.

Orla I was an out-and-out Autocrat. He did what he wanted. Dismissed his non-relative advisers, dismissed the court, and dismissed the parliament that set his budget. Until 1792, he was alone, except for a few of his family members that he made as his main advisers, doing most of the work. When the army revolted, after going without pay for 18 months between June 1790 and January 1792, Orla had all men in the ranks above Colonel executed, and the men below those ranks imprisoned until March 1792. This crippled the army, in a way like the Great Purge of 1937 in Soviet Russia.

This was until the 'Second Glorious Revolution' that was led by the escaped Generalmajorre Catari S. Vinson. This rebellion began on May 15, 1792, when Vinson's connections inside of the Fallsian Parliament in Exile pressured him into raising an army, and trying to take Tozedo-Fallsatia. He raised an army out of the Lt. Cols that we're not executed in the January Rebellion, and an army of discontented peasants, and some of the NCOs and Privates from the government army, and Vinson, on June 3, 1792, marshalled his massive army of 168,000 to overwhelm the smaller Fallsian Army of 89,000. The Rebellion began in the Southern City of Shovaggi, moving all the way up to Tozedo-Fallsatia. Orla I continued to fight with his smaller army, losing more than 3/4ths of it before he surrendered. At Bekatusburg, thirteen miles north of Fallsatia, Orla I surrendered, and took the terms of Vinson.

These terms were to:

  • Begin Parliament, and keep it yearly to the end of his reign

  • Pay the Army at all normal times, to be determined by the Army itself

  • Give Power to the Advisers, appointed by Parliament

  • Name an Heir before 1795, on pain of forced abdication

  • Exonerate all Army Generals that were executed

  • Release all Army Prisoners

Orla I ruled, with diminished power, until October 4, 1800, when his nephew, of which he named on December 31, 1794, took the reins, and took the avenging regnal name Orla II. He took this name, with the proclamation, made on January 3, 1800, to stop the prevailing of the nobles over the king, who he through had a divine right. He made him self popular with the people, but not with the Nobles, when he publicly executed the 17 main leaders of the rebellion that had shackled his uncle to a power system dominated by the nobles.

Orla II began his reign by culling the nobility and instituting more government control over government services, and by making him a controller, with his advisers. He began by funding the arts, which had long been neglected, making the Falls one of the areas that people thought was devoid of culture. Orla II funded the wave of the arts, that sent the renaissance to the Falls. This renaissance lasted until about 1897 when revolution consumed the country. People thought that he spent too much on art, until the gold rush of 1800-01 in Oroton. Before the rush, Oroton was an uninhabited town, which benefited from the rush, in growing 475,353 people.

The gold made people rich, as there was tons of it to be found. Billions of dollars were poured into the economy, with 10% of the gold money going to the government. Orla II took advantage and made a tax holiday for businesses that moved to the Falls, trying to take advantage of the gold rush, which made the government S/153 Billion in taxes in 1803. Also, a homestead act was pioneered, which made people settle around the area, with 300 acres of land, on which you would farm, or start a business, and if you did, you would get the land free, every five years. This worked well, except for the number of people, like the Duke of Reinstadt, who took the land, and had to be forcibly evicted, when they misused the land. The Duke built a house on a 'triple tract' of 900 acres, which made two families have to leave the land but misused the land, to the point of letting it fall into ruin. He was thrown in jail, for 10 years, after this fraud was discovered in 1802.

Infrastructure was also built in the Falls, at this time, which made things better for many, many people. Before, commerce had been hard, as products that had to be transported were not, because of the bad roads. These roads made commerce so hard, in fact, that many businesses took their business outside of the borders, and had to sign contracts, ordered by Orla II, to say they would return when the roads became passable, again, as they soon would. Orla II set upon nationalizing many road construction businesses, to maximize efficiency, and to make sure that Orla II got what he wanted, when it came to roads. The first asphalt horse tracks came in 1803, and continued building, at breakneck speed, until the roads were finished, and the last tar rolled, on February 8, 1804. Orla II also banned the slave trade, and freed all slaves, on this date. Slavery had been unknown, but practiced, and was now put an end to, being an archaic practice to him.

In 1812, there was a pretender's uprising, that wanted a more nobility-oriented puppet, which tried to put up Sitchin Azaria, as Sitchin I. They claimed Orla I had another son, who was smuggled away at birth. It said that the nobility would be put first, which gave the rebellion some of the aristocratic backing. It began on January 1, 1812, sending 36,850 trained troops to the center of the capital, who were defeated easily by the 167,350 troops of the empire, that still had . Sitchin was killed, as he was shot through the eyes in the heat of the battle. This uprising made Orla II paranoid. Extremely paranoid, to the point where he killed 3/4s of all of the nobles, who often oppressed the people, which made him popular with the people. After killing the nobility, he decided that he would amalgamate the nobilities' powers with his. The powers that he now had were extensive, controlling the daily lives of many of the people.

By 1820, Orla II was an established, justified authoritarian, and he managed to put down the small rebellions, and harness the army. The Fourth Pax Fallkera began in about this year, starting a blossom of modern-age philosophy that hadn't been seen for years, and years. That blossom of modern philosophy gave rise to the theories of Natzache, and Friid, (AU), and made the South Falls a cultural center of the world. It also threw the South Falls into the center of a regional spotlight on culture, which gave it grants of almost S/120 Billion to The South Falls, to develop more cultural prominence. At this point, the South Falls was the greatest cultural area, but it didn't last. By 1825, the lack of money dedicated to roads and public works was making the Falls' economy crumble. A large drought in the spring of 1826 didn't do anything to alleviate the growing issues. When the under-par crop came in in 1826, a large portion of The South Falls began to starve. It was termed the Great Fallsian Famine.

The famine years were exacerbated by a lack of relief. While the top Fallsians did not starve, millions of poor citizens, those who could not scrape enough money together to buy food on the black market, starved. By 1828, over 3.5 million citizens emigrated or were dead. The South Falls' population was cut by 1/6th. For the next 2 years, all that was notable was the continuing peace of the Falls. For the seven years after 1828, a road network was built across the entire Falls, to try to connect it as had been done a century before. By 1838, a public education system, first on the continent, was formed. Orla II, while against this education, ended up getting bought out of it. By 1845, at least 56% of the nation's children were in school. The last main progressive reform before Orla II's de facto reign ended, was the anti-child labor reforms, aimed at getting children out of the coal mines. It succeeded at it's goal, only at the backs of peasants. It was implemented in 1849, two years before Orla II's stroke.

On January 3, 1851, while inside of his personal chambers, Orla II suffered a stroke. This sent the nation into panic. There was no named heir, and there were two competing factions of court. These were the Rorks, and the Yoses. The Yoses were pro-Orla II, and wanted to put one of his supporters on the throne. They also wanted to end religious freedom, and make sure that all converted to Protestantism. The Rorks were a group that wanted democracy, and a vote for the people. They were named after their leader, Evilius Danstrom Rork III. They raised their own seperate armies, the Yoses possessing the main army. The Rorks, however, had the support of 330,000 people, about 15,500 of which were armed. The Yoses had accsess to 50,000 fully armed, and trained troops. On February 2, 1851, they faced of at Chokhen Field. The Rorks lost about 300, causing 8 Yose loses. On Feb 17, 1851, the Rorks won their one major victory, at the battle of Hatfor, where they routed the Yoses, causing them to flee. Under the new command of the Duke of Catcho, which would become Orla III, the Yoses mustered their forces, drew the reserve, and drove the Rorks back and back through the Falls, over March 5-28, 1851. By June, the Rork forces had increased in strength by 130,000. However, the Yoses were using no mercy against those they deemed traitors, and continued to fight. On Christmas Day 1851, the Duke of Catcho proclaimed himself Orla III, and assumed his title as Regent of The South Falls. The Civil War continued on, and on.

By January of 1852, the Yoses almost completely pushed out the Rorks, but lost at the Battle of Cuga. The Rorks continued to push ahead, and ahead to try to reach the capital. They didn't, and were pushed back at the second battle of Chokhen Field. This time, the Rorks lost over 10,000 soldiers, and the Yoses lost just 500.

The North Falls became democratic and held elections starting on October 1, 1897. The South Falls became an Autonomous Region on December 28, 1917 in the Middle of the First Lotion Civil War, to boost recruitment rates through a concession.

On June 27, 1945 the region of Wahoda in what is now Ouija Province declared independence from The Falls. This war lasted six years and made the Falls be taken seriously in the North Pacific. On December 21, 1951, the Wahodans surrendered and ended the war.

The Wahodans declared independence and won it on December 2, 1966. That independence was stripped away in 1988 in the Fallsian Civil War, from the battle of Duzerte-Macana.

These North Falls was the controller of the pre-independence Autonomous South Falls Region (1917-1969). (ASFR) When the dictator Elvot Mahata assumed power in 1968, the South Falls independence movement was started underground. The North Falls then took over the South Falls on May 16, 1969, stripping it of autonomous status.

The South Falls was a part of it until October 17, 2000. The North and South Falls have been at War since 1973, June 1. The North Falls oppressed the South with the Mahata Dictatorship and the revolutionary John Arnold Palmerston started, at the age of 52, the SFRM (South Fallsian Resistance Movement), or as popularized by the TV series Mavity Falls: Take Back The Falls. This war started with a battle in Fallsatia, lasting from June 3, 1973, until May 1, 1999, when the first peace accord was drafted, the Magers Accord.

The Second Battle of Fallsatia began with a North Falls airstrike on the main SFRM base, in violation of the Magers Accord. The SFRM then marched a 1,000,000 man army back to Fallsatia and besieged it until the Garrison, led by Dictator Mahata capitulated and gave the SRFM 338,000 sq mi of territory, on Oct. 17, 2000. The SFRM was disbanded two weeks later and became the SFA, SFAF, SFN, SFCG and the SFM. (Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, and Marines.) The Coast Guard and Marines were disbanded, both in 2006 and were absorbed into the other three.

In 2007, the South Falls took two colonial possessions. These were Canada and India. The British Empire sold these territories to the South Falls, for S/831.8 Billion. The South Falls then managed to wrangle these territories into The South Falls and has kept them since.

There was a second Wahodan Crisis beginning on May 18, 2021, and then ending on June 16, 2024, with the treaty of Nueva.

Five wars have been fought since 2024, making The South Falls become a diplomatic power among the nations of strange real, and made The South Falls a 'player in the regional game'.

The Government of the South Falls is divided into two main parts. These parts can be divided into more parts, but the two main parts are The Popular Democracy and the Representative's Democracy. They make up four main branches.

The Popular Democracy
The Popular Democracy of The South Falls is one large branch. This branch of The South Fallsian government is just as powerful as the other ones. It is made up of all of the Voting-Age (16 and over) people within the South Falls. All citizens across The South Falls at voting age are allowed to vote in the Popular Democracy, in every vote.

Functions of The Popular Democracy
The Popular Democracy votes on Referendums, which determine most legal issues, in juries by the people with the information dissipated throughout the internet and the mail. The referenda also determine things like secession, and most unimportant laws not pertaining to government and the foreign policy of The South Falls.

The Popular Democracy cannot declare war or levy taxes, but they can confirm the appointments of the representatives or the president. They can also ratify trade and add amendments to the South Fallsian constitution. They can also administer police and fire forces, as well as other public works, and protect private property rights.

The Representative Democracy
The Representative Democracy of The South Falls is another branch, which is broken into two pieces. These pieces are the Major Representative House and the Minor Representative House. In the Major House, Representatives come, five each from each of the sixteen provinces. That means that there are 80 Major Representatives. These Major Representatives co-operate with the Minor Representatives to make bills, and send them to the Prime Minister.
Functions of the Representative Democracy
The Functions of the Representative Houses are to do everything that the popular democracy cannot do. This includes:

  • Levying Taxes

  • Declaring War

  • Ending War

  • Add Amendments

  • Impeach or Remove the Prime Minister

  • Allocating Federal Funding

The Representatives have Speakers, to where each of their votes counts for two votes. This means that the speaker is a highly coveted position, also for the extra pay. The Legislature meets in Fallsatia and takes up the State House. The 3rd Floor is the Major (Higher), House, and the Minor (Lower) meets on the second floor.
Foreign Relations and Military
Foreign Relations
The South Falls is one of the most diplomatic nations but has committed to war five times. It has tried to police the area around itself but has ended up committing to Osean Wars everywhere. The South Falls is also extremely active on the world stage, ever since 2033 when it began sending a WA mission to represent the South Falls on the world stage. The leader of the mission is named Stanford Brassington, and was given the title of World Assembly Ambassador to The South Falls.
Military
The Military of The South Falls is an extremely active one. Made up of nine million soldiers, it has had to fight wars across the world when The South Falls has one of it's many allies caught in the war. The Commander-In-Chief is the Prime Minister. However, he does not have the full control of every branch, That falls to the Supreme General or Fleet Admiral council of each branch. These councils make military decisions by voting.

GDP (nominal): S/28.1 Trillion
GDP (nominal) per capita: SFD 66,475
Labor Force: 338 Million
Unemployment: 1.08%

The Economy of The South Falls is a 1/10 centrally planned, and a 9/10s Private Enterprise economy.
The Centrally Planned Enterprises
There are some services who are directly planned by the government. These include but are not limited to:
Utilities
Healthcare and Insurance
Dacofoc Arms (military)
Public buildings and all revenue to come from them

The Centrally Planned bit of the South Fallsian Economy is services that are determined by Section 6, Article 1 of The South Fallsian Constitution of 2033 to be 'essential enough to be required under the control of the government for maximum efficiency and conservance of resources'. It is not really egalitarian, in the distribution of wages being the same, but is just government-controlled.

The unemployment rate is 2.85%, due to amount of jobs in the space tech industry, and the also the Information Technology industry, which leads the South Falls.
The Privately Planned Enterprises are considered all other things that are not controlled under public enterprise. The ports of Cuga and Barnes Lake are one of the most busy, Privately controlled areas on Anea, and the entire world. Almost 100 nations mantain trade realtions with the Private Industry Sector of The South Falls. The South Fallsian currency is the South Fallsian Dollar (S/), which is one of the strongest currencies in The North Pacific.

The economy is built upon the Information Technology Industry. Robots are the main workers, who use their processing power to create more powerful microchips, which facilitated quantum computers in 2028. Trillions of Dollars have been poured into the industry, which is based in Oroton, 30 miles east of lake Voazz. Oroton has made many people Trillionaires, however it has seen it's share of bubbles.

8.3% of the population works in the Information Technology industry, mostly managing the non-AI robots, of which there are many. AI robots make up about 46.3% of the workforce in the Information Technology Industry, and their job carries a good average salary.

The South Falls also is a hub for renewable energy support. Hundreds of Billions of dollars are tied up inside of The South Falls' wind farms and Solar Farms. These farms are run by the government, and are situated in the countryside, as food-creation engines to remove the need to use agriculture.

Culture
People's Culture
The South Fallsian culture is one of the most progressive,'loose' cultures on earth. Nudity and public displays of affection and even sex are tolerated within The South Falls. Advancing into the future, social conservatism is pretty much gone. The culture is more about communalism that individualism, and while individual compettion is still a large part of society, people, according to many polls, care less about competition and themselves, than they do the good of what they define as their community.

Art, especially music, flourishes inside of The South Falls. Government subsidies cover the arts and music, to a massive degree, and make the Musicians, and Painters, and Graphic Designers, and other artists financially stable to make The South Falls a cultural hub that draws Tourism from across the world. There are 27,383 works of art that are certified to bring tourism, spanning many genres, and these works bring in a total of S/983.6 billion per year. There are theaters, museums and concert halls across The South Falls, especially in big cities, which are centers of South Fallsian culture.
Cuisine
South Fallsian food is a melting pot, like The South Falls. The food comes from around the world, and is mostly traditional food, with newer additions closer to Urban Areas. While the South Falls has food creation engines disperesed in every city, so famine is literally impossible, and agriculture is entirely unneded because of those engines, that can create traditional food. With government control of the engines, the food is evenly dispersed throughout cities. Chefs take their ingredients fresh, and try not to make extremely elaborate meals, as those are not valued as high as fresh and well-cooked meals. The diet relies mostly on bread and meats, with teas as beverages.

Flavor merging from the food engines are everywhere across The South Falls, which makes the cuisine very flavorful and ripe, as compared with the often-damped tongues of the nations that surround it, that are more focused on the military than on cuisine.

Infrastructure
The Infrastructure of the South falls is extensive, built by the Army in after the war years. The Public Transport system, government run, is a combination of trains, buses, and even commuter planes across The South Falls.

There are 28,950mi of rail across The South Falls, and 3,100 locomotives, and there are also 13,996 buses in the massive government-controlled company, SFTransport. The Transport costs S/.25 to ride on any bus, S/2 on any train, and S/8 on any commuter train.

Infrastructure is managed by the Public Works Ministry, and also by Health and Human Services, for a standard of quality that must be maintained across the South Falls. 11.8% of the nation's budget goes towards infrastructure, and is well maintained, unlike many in the North Pacific.

The largest infrastructure plan ever undertaken was the Nuua Canal, a 665-mile canal between the border of The South Falls and Modern Russian Empire. This opened up Lake Voazz to the sea, which boosted trade, as Fallsatia is now a port city.

Energy
All energy in the South Falls comes from offshore wind turbines, connected to electric pipes that transfer the energy across the South Falls. Coal and Oil deposits still exist, but the South Falls exports all of it's Coal and Oil to other nations, skimming off a profit.

The South Falls is entirely self-reliant for energy.
