The Federation of the Communes of The Revolutionaries is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Council For Common Welfare the Communes with a fair hand, and renowned for its national health service, ban on automobiles, and punitive income tax rates. The compassionate, democratic population of 1.683 billion Revolutionaries are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The government — a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, socially-minded morass — juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Education, and Welfare. The average income tax rate is 82.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but inefficient Revolutionary economy, worth 66.9 trillion Hammanas a year, is highly specialized and mostly made up of the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Pizza Delivery. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 39,733 Hammanas, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The nation's universities are often mistaken for foreign embassies, it ain't easy to be green enough to be imported into The Revolutionaries, reporters often lose their jobs over fact-checking errors, and turning eighteen is often referred to as the 'Age of Aquarius'. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Revolutionaries's national animal is the Osprey, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

The Revolutionaries is ranked 223,435th in the world and 1st in The Justice Bloc for Most Corrupt Governments, with 0.57 Kickbacks Per Hour.
