The Theocracy of The Nuclear Cult is a small, safe nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service, restrictive gun laws, and suspicion of poets. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 23 million Nuclear Cultists are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The enormous, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Law & Order, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 72.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The weak Nuclear Cultist economy, worth 683 billion Uranium Ingots a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector, which is fairly diversified, is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Woodchip Exports, and Retail. Average income is 29,725 Uranium Ingots, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Police spend their Saturday nights breaking up illegal street races, adultery has been made a capital offence, even snitches get stitches, and Leader claims to be the epitome of family values. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Nuclear Cult's national animal is the Imperial Rooster, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

The Nuclear Cult is ranked 140,807th in the world and 142nd in 21st Century Rome for Largest Manufacturing Sector, scoring 2,167.74 on the Gooback-Jerbs Productivity Index.
