Products B-2XX Peacemaker II WiP Awaiting redo.

Developed in the late 2010s to replace the Corparations aging stealth bomber fleet, the Next Generation Strategic Aircraft Program (NGSAP) was started. The bomber was to have a low RCS, a payload in excess of equal or greater size compared to its current fleet, an unrefueled combat range in excess of 6,000 miles, deploy smart munitions, and be equipped to change and adapt its missions in flight. Several design teams submitted designs, the majority of the designs were flying wings and blended wing concepts. The winning design was the B-3 Peacemaker II. It's blended wing design and recessed over wing engines give it a radar cross section below most conventional bombers. As originally conceived its exterior would of been treated with radar absorbent materials. Budget cuts nearly led to cancellation of the program but a compromise was reached when it was put forth that starting a new project would cost far more than continuing the development of a modified B-3 design. Chief among the modifications was a the avionics for the revised B-3 being only modifications of existing systems in use on other aircraft rather than all new as originally hoped. Another major difference in the revised version was the absence of radar absorbent materials which led to a considerable cost reduction, as well as a lower maintenance cost for the future. This deemphasis on stealth also opened up the possibility of modifying the aircraft for other roles as any modifications would no longer have to worry as much about compromising the low RCS.

The B-3s four turbofan engines maintain the efficiency across most speeds and altitudes. The bomber features 6 weapons bays, two center-line bays each capable of holding 30,000lbs of ordnance and two weapons bays in each wing root each with two hard points capable of carrying over 2,000lbs , This gives the B-3 an impressive payload of over76,000 lbs of munitions. The center line bays are capable of housing large amounts of conventional free fall bombs or guided precision weapons mounted on various kinds of interchangeable racks, while the outer bays can carry precision guided weapons or even conformal fuel tanks increasing its range considerably at only a moderate loss to payload . Its crew of four (Commander/Pilot, Copilot, and two systems operators) all sit in a glass cockpit with individual ejection seats. The piloting stations are equipped with side-sticks and an advanced HuD projected onto the forward windscreen. The flight controls are assisted by an advanced fly-by-wire system. The systems operators sit at two side facing fully digital control stations directly behind the pilots. The control stations control the offensive and defensive systems and are hooked directly into the aircraft's primary computer systems each station able to take up either or both roles although. Behind the cockpit is a small compartment nicknamed "The Shed" for its small cramped size (Barely 5 ft long including the bunks) with 2 bunks, bathroom facilities w/ curtain, food storage and microwave for use on long duration missions. Entry to the bomber is through a hatch in the floor of this compartment

Beginning Stats:

Crew: 4 (Commander, Copilot, Offensive and Defensive Systems Operators)
Length:~115Ft
Height: ~18ft
Wingspan: ~ 175 FT
Range: in excess of 6,000 miles with two of the outer payload bays configured with CTB3 Conformal Fuel tanks
Cruising Speed:Mach .085
Max speed: Mach 0.9
Max Altitude: 50,000ft
Engines: 4 x Turbo Fans with 20,000lbf each Design is similar to the F118
Weapons:
2x Center line bays each carrying:
-6 Missile Rotary Launcher for short-medium range missiles (Such as JASSM)
-Various racks for up to 30,000lbs of other munitions including Laser and GPS guided bombs, cluster munitions, and standoff weapons

4 x Outer payload bays each carrying a mix of:
-up to 2000lb bunker busters
-up to 2 of various standoff weapons
-up to 8 small diameter bombs
-1 CTB3 Conformal Fuel tank (A removable conformal fuel tank that that fits into the weapons bay)
The ability to carry Anti-radiation missiles is also being considered for later upgrades

Aft launchers for Chaff and Flares
Avionics:
1-active phased array radar (Maybe an upgraded APQ-181 like the B-2s are getting) Later versions could maybe be upgraded to use a plasma antenna
1- FCC-203A "Mike" Central Flight Computer provides fly-by-wire capabilities and, controls and manages the aircraft's systems in accordance with the crews input. Doubly redundant.
1-SMLN up-link (Shintari Military Location Network, my nation's GPS system)
1-Sattelite Communications up link
Plus radios, and Targeting Systems

Current fleet and variants:
2 YB-3A Prototypes, primary difference from production version is the inclusion in the prototypes of a "V" tail and a single crew escape capsule rather then individual ejection seats. Stealth Coating.
4 YB-3B Second Line of Prototypes similar to final design but had stealth coating and experimental avionics designed for B-3
50 B-3C Peacemaker II production aircraft with another 50 on order. Stealth Materials were omitted, avionics lifted from previous aircraft designs and modified to fit the B-3.
A Reconnaissance version is also planned. Electronic warfare and maritime patrol variants have also been explored.
