The Canadian North-West

The Worker's Republic of the Canada, commonly simply called Canada, is a Syndicalist Republic in the Cobalt Network. It is bordered on the south by the Mainland United States and the west by Alaska, and shares Water borders on the east with Greenland. The nation covers about 10 million squared kilometers of land in the North American continent.

Etymology

The name of the Worker's Republic of the Canadian North-West is probably very obvious. The Worker's Republic pronoun is based on the nation's adoption of Syndicalism, specifically of the De Leonist variety, while the territory that Canada currently takes up has historically been referred to as Canada since the Colonial period.

The standard way to refer to a citizen of Canada is as a "Canadian."

Notes: Most combat history was ASW
Originally started as a Soviet Battlecruiser before WWII to replace the aging Borodino class of Battlecruiser, the Kronshtadt was originally laid down in 1939, set to be completed in 1944. However, the relatively ambitious program proved too much for the Soviet Naval yards, and the project underwent a series of delays and setbacks until, in January 1942, it was sold, with only about 20% of its hull complete, to the Worker's Republic of Canada. From there, it took an impressive year and a half to complete, commissioned in August of 1943 as the Vancouver thanks to the industrial might of the United States, and serving in the Atlantic up until the end of the war. In December of 1944, she was fitted with 6 K-Type Depth Charge Projectors while docked in Ireland. She was decommissioned after a collision with an ice sheet February 4th, 1962 compromised her hull's integrity, and moved to port in her namesake city of Vancouver, and opened as a museum ship January 3rd, 1965. Over her career, she was the aggressor in 7 separate friendly fire incidents, all of which taking place in the Summer of 1944 due to being issued faulty decoding hardware and radar equipment.
