There was a deep connection between the House and Members of the Imperial Cult hierarchy and the more radical elements of the Inquisition. He was a trusted and beloved member of the Imperial Government until his attempt to usurp the Imperial High Court for himself, dragging the Sub Sector into a 25 year civil war. Also in the Image is his suit of armor The Collector's due.

The Elite warrior Ogyns of Castamere had long been sworn off as Sub-Human by the other houses; House Castamere however, put their sheer brutality and simple minds to good effect on the battlefield.

In the Cramped confines of the Castamere House's Super Hives the soldiers of the House possessed an affinity for close combat that many other houses called upon in times of need.

After Reynold's defeat it had been revealed that he had turned to the dark gods in his lust for power, though a body was never recovered he was believed to have died after single combat with then, Knight Jarris of House Maddox. The Suit of Armor being used by Reynold held a warp charge that when damaged tore a temporary hole in reality. There are still whispers across the Sub Sector that he is alive, and it is speculated that the core of the rebellion faced by House Inopsus, the former subjects of Reynold Castamere continue to fight for their master.

The above are pictures recovered from security forces that patrol the old lands of Castamere.

The Ogyns of House Castamere having suffered the effects of the Warp are now more dangerous then ever before. They have become terrible monstrosities that will render a bloody toll on the enemies they face.

The warriors of Castamere have become no less skilled in their art of close combat but much more fanatical and blood thirsty in their approach to combat.
