The Empire of Stars and Suns Imperium is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Reza the Barbarian with an even hand, and notable for its complete lack of prisons, ubiquitous missile silos, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working, devout population of 5.029 billion Stars and Suns Imperiumians are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

The large, moralistic government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Law & Order, and Defense. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Heaven and Earth MegaCity. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 45.8%.

The thriving Stars and Suns Imperiumian economy, worth 379 trillion Euros a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, fairly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Retail, Book Publishing, and Trout Farming. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 75,523 Euros, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 213,187 per year while the poor average 21,417, a ratio of 10.0 to 1.

Children in school playgrounds can be heard chanting the hymns of the Order of Violet, the only place where one can see the Stars and Suns Imperiumian cherry tree is in a museum, women who can do math in their head are burned for witchcraft, and the Komodo Dragon is a protected species. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Stars and Suns Imperium's national animal is the Komodo Dragon, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Zoroastrianism.

Stars and Suns Imperium is ranked 94,946th in the world and 129th in Texas for Nudest, with 111.75 Cheeks Per Square Mile.
