Queen Elektra
Queen Elektra is the absolute monarch of the Hawk Men, controlling them from her fortress, the Sky Citadel, a flying castle which none of her rivals have yet been able to take from her.
Physical Appearance
Queen Electra is a Hawk-Man, or a term simply meant to denote her race. She has fair white skin and brown/blonde hair. Like most of her species, her most noticeable distinguishing feature is the presence of a pair of wings on her back. Her wings are of a golden color, which is seen as a sign of nobility in Hawk society. Like most of the females of her species, she is naturally thin, with very little fat to be found on her body, at least in the wrong places. As she frequently gets into fights herself, she also has some visible muscles, though they aren't very extreme as she makes no active effort to make them such, and working out for the sake of working out simply isn't a thing in Hawk Society.
Style of Rule
Elektra is a brutal ruler, willing to crush anyone who seem like they might betray her. Ruling the Hawk Men, a race known for impetuosity and quickness to fight, and being one herself, means that she frequently gets into fights, eve with her own subjects. As with many other things in Hawk culture, while the short attention span and reliance on emotional outbursts causes many fights, it also means they are quickly forgotten, especially if more pressing matters emerge, and as such she, like most of the Hawk People, is not very vengeful. As the absolute monarch of the Hawk Men, she can do whatever she wants, or at least she says she can.
Ascent to the Throne
While as the eldest she was guaranteed a chance at the throne with her receiving it by default, it was always possible for someone else to try and challenged her for it before she had actually been named the one true heir. This cam to pass with her younger sister, Visha. As a result, a duel was set to determiner who would rule. If Visha didn't come, Elektra would win by forfeit. But of course Visha did come, and she planned no mercy for her elder sibling, her greatest rival. Both had their wings pinned, so as to not allow them to fly, and leapt onto the dueling ring, a strange contraption in the Sky Citadel, designed for fights between 2 or more combatants, and that was often used as entertainment. But this was no attention grabbing display, but a most serious affair. Each sister grabbed one of the whips thrown to them, and recklessly beat at each other with their whips, while also trying to either hurl each other off the edge, and avoiding the spikes with would pop out of the ground. Elektra won after several minutes of hard fighting, when Visha, trying to shove her off the edge, tripped on her own whip, and her heart was impaled on a spike that popped up. She hardly had time to admit defeat, but Elektra forced her to, before shoving her further down onto the stake to ensure that the victory was completely secured.
