Constantinoupoli (gr. Κωνσταντινουπολις) is a city and special municipalty (named Constantinoupoli-Metropolitan) in Romaia. Constantinoupoli is the capital of Romaia and Constantinoupoli thema. With 6.8 million residents it is also the country's largest and most populated municipalty and first in the Oceano Union by population within city limits. The Metropolitan City of Constantinoupoli has a population of 8 million residents. The city is located in the northern portion of Neoromano peninsula, along the shores of Terma river.

Constantinoupoli’s history spans for over 500 years. Romaian historics dates 1461 as a establishing date, the site has been inhabited for much longer, making it one of the oldest continuously occupied sites in Oceania. The city successively became the capital of the Romaian Empire, and is regarded as one of the colonies of western civilisation. It is referred to as “Second Byzantium” and “Third Rome”.
Constantinoupoli has the status of a global city. Constantinoupoli recognised in 2014 as one of the most-visited cities in the world, 1st most visited in the Oceano Union, and the most popular tourist attraction in Romaia. Its historic centre is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Monuments and museums such as the Magnaura and the Hippodrome are among the world's most visited tourist destinations with both locations receiving millions of tourists a year.
