Ludwigsburg officially, the Republic of South German States (also known as the Republic in Ludwigsburg) is country located above the Alps and borders the G.D.R, Czechobavaria, Alpine Republic, France, and Union of Benelux. It is divided into 7 regions.

It is ruled by Friedrich Schonbrunn who staged a coup against the former Kanzler. It is a relatively medium sized country and is ruled by the Arbeiterfraktion (labour faction), a socialist party. It was founded by Hans Stettin, Johannes Kugelkrafter, and a French immigrant named Chauvin de la Petain. They failed to win elections as the Romisch Katholisch party had made a one-party state. Hence, along with the Conservative Party, Communist Party, Green Party, National Party, Libertarian Faction, and the Social Liberal Faction(which later merged with the Arbeiterfraktion) they started the United Revolution, which saw the one-party state being removed and a free and fair democracy was declared. An immediate election begun where the Arbeiterfraktion won 31% of the vote, Conservatives getting 27% and the Communists getting 11%, with the rest of the parties getting the rest. They fought multiple wars with the GDR. In the year 1972, the South German State found itself into a war against the GDR again, giving them their land south of the great Rhine. In July of 2021, the largely unpopular Johan Schauff was replaced after a coup led by his commander in chief and influential member of the Arbeiterfraktion Friedrich Schonbrunn removed him and instated an immediate election which saw him get 45% of the vote as an independent candidate though he was part of the Arbeiterfraktion. Etymology
Ludwigsburg's name comes from -wiĝ and burg meaning war-fort. It became Ludwigsburg after King Ludwig of Bavaria ordered it to be. The demonym is Lüdwigsburger and adjective is Ludwiger.
History

Antiquity
Ludwigsburg history spans centuries. The first people to settle there were the Homo Heidelburgensis. The first anatomically modern humans came 50,000 years ago. After that the Proto-Germanic tribes settled and created the first Ludwigsbürger civillization. Then the Ostrogoths migrated along with the Visigoths and settled there. The Romans conquered it for a short time but then it was reconquered by the Ostrogoths.
Medieval Era
After the Romans fell the Franks migrated into modern day Ludwigsburg. The Franks created an empire succeeded by the Holy Roman Empire. The Kingdoms of Baden and Wurttemburg were the foundations of Ludwigsburg. It stayed normal till the Habsburgs came in and founded the city of Ludwigsburg, albeit known as Ottostadt. Then the Austrians left and the kingdom of Baden and Wurttemburg came back.
Modern Era
Then Napoleon and his armies invaded the two kingdoms and installed the Republic of Ottostadt. Then the king Ludwig of Bavaria came there for hunting and he created the city of Ludwigsburg. Then it became part of the German Empire and after that the Weimar Republic. It was liberated during WW2 and after the war the allies occupied Germany into sectors and after some time they let the allied sectors become independent. The GDR was born after the Soviets gave independence to Communist Germany which united with former British Germany. The French occupied sector became Ludwigsburg and the American occupied zone became Bavaria, which united with Czechoslovakia after which Slovakia ceded from the union. This led to the bloody German Civil War between Ludwigsburg, Bavaria VS GDR. Ludwigsburg was originally a capitalist state with the Romisch-Katholiesch faction in charge. It was widely seen as a People's Party until 1965, when Wladimir Rowitz Bach took control. He passed a reform which abolished secret ballots and instated First Past the Post. He was supported by the United States and regularly conducted massacres against anyone and everyone left of center. This culminated in the young, mostly liberal working class to start demonstration. Then Hans Stettin, Johannes Kugelkrafter and Chauvin De La Petain sought to remove Wladimir and started a non-violent demonstration outside the Kanzlerhaus, which led to the Arbeiterfraktion (aka the Arbeiterpartei) taking power from Wladimir.. Then the country went through many reforms such as the Regulations Act of 1981 and the Homosexuality Legalization Act 1987. This period also had the 2nd German Civil War which led to Bavaria and Ludwigsburg earning land from the GDR. After this Ludwigsburg was relatively stable until the 3 Week War which lead to Ludwigsburg earning all land south of the Rhine that GDR owned. After this it was peace and the last major event, known as the Golden Coup where Johann Schauff was removed from power by Friedrich Schonbrunn, the Feldmarschall.

Geography
Ludwigsburg is located in Central Europe south of the Northern European plain. It is located near the Danube and Rhine rivers which contribute to much of the agriculture. It is mostly flat, except near Elsaß-Lothringen and the Alps. The Rhine is one of the most important river in Ludwigsburg as it starts in the G.D.R, one of Ludwigsburg's greatest rivals. The land is filled with rich mineral deposits. The environment is degrading due to widespread deforestation and mining, though an effort to combat this was created by the government known as the Save the Earth initiative. Water politics is an often lethal. An example was the damming of the river Alb by the G.D.R which killed 4 people who died of thirst.
Demographics
The population of Ludwigsburg is largely homogenous, with only few minorities. This is slowly changing due to relaxations on refugee and immigration policies. The population is mostly Atheist which is grouped in two groups (Fully atheist, and agnostic). The Catholic population is slowly declining due to secular policies put by the government. Most immigrants are from Syria, Afghanistan and India. The Jewish population is slowly declining due to emigration to Israel.
Politics
Though there is many political parties in Ludwigsburg, most people vote for only 3, which are the Arbeiterfraktion (translated as Worker's faction), Romisch-Katholiesch Partei (translated as Roman-Catholic Party) and the Konservativenpartei (Communist faction). The ruling party circa 2020 is the Arbeiterfraktion. The Arbeiterfraktion is a social democratic party who's leader is Friedrich Schonbrunn. The Arbeiterfraktion describes itself as a "Social Democratic Pro-Free Trade and pro-Union catch-all party". The Romisch-Katholiesch was a party which had it's roots in the South German Society, whose ideology was Free Market Democratic Liberalism. The current Romisch-Katholiesch party was formed in the 1950s due to Wladimir Rowitz becoming a head figure of the old party. It is recognized as a liberal party and still remains popular today. The Konservativepartei is translated as "Conservative Party" and is a liberal-conservative Free Market Protectionist party, founded in 1964, breaking off from the original Romisch-Katholiesch Partei due to Wladimir Rowitz, but instead of joining the New Liberal Party, they created a new conservative party. They, along with the Arbeiterfraktion, Neuliberalen (today the Romisch-Katholiesch Partei), the Konservativepartei, Nationalistfraktion, and Die Grunen participated in the '71 Coalition, overthrowing Rowitz. The "Kanzler", German for Chancellor is the title of the ruler of Ludwigsburg. The current Kanzler is Friedrich Schonbrunn who earnt his position by staging a coup de'tat against Johann Schauff, the former Kanzler. The country was transformed from a backwards Catholic two-party state into a multi-party secular state by Hans Stettin, who is widely regarded as the father of the nation. Today the nation has a growing socialist youth and atheist population.
Economy
The Economy of Ludwigsburg is mostly private with some regulations. Many regulations were passed by the Arbeiterfraktion. The weapons and manufacturing industry is dominated by Bahnskompagnie, Ruhrindustries, and the SuF Konsumers holding about 11% of all private industries. The rest are small businesses and foreign companies. A new economic model was formed by Willem Bahns, who was the Economic Minister under Hans Stettin. He developed a plan, in which the country would first fund education which would give skilled labourers, who would work in skilled industries and become engineers, doctors, and architects. They would loosen regulations on private industries allowing said educated workers to form infrastructure and heath companies. They would allow the populace to grow richer letting the government tax them more allowing the government to subsidize doctors (effectively making healthcare free), build public transport networks, start Welfare programs, fund education even more and so on. This would allow the people to grow richer and more happy with the state of affairs in the country. After this the government could invest in their own state-owned industries and allow the nation to gain investment from foreign nations. This would benefit the nation and it's people, lowering the unemployment rate and allowing increased wages. This would make South Germany a rich nation. After this the consumer goods industry should be encouraged so that the nation can export to other nations, hence increasing their foreign influence. Bahns estimated that this change would need 40 Years. This plan has worked due to brands like Bahns, BMW, Mercedes and others being very influential in foreign markets.
